This rating is based on assembly and perceived structure. I am not the most handy person in the world but had no problem assembling this unit. Except for attaching the lid, it is an easy one-person job. The only tools I used were a phillips screwdriver and my fist. (The fist was handy for snugging the snap connections.) Now that it is assembled, we will fill it with some of our large and heavy camping gear.

it was a one day sale and we battled crazy crowds to get it, got it home and my husband spent an hour on mothers day putting it together. after putting the whole thing together we noticed the lid has a large cracked hole in it on the front edge. I called Sam's Club and they want me to bring back the whole thing for an exchange. that my husband will have to spend time putting back together. otherwise it's a very nice deck box for the money. looks exactly as pictures and stores all 5 of my patio cushions with ease.

We have been talking about buying a deck box for years. When the Keter Rockwood 150-Gallon Outdoor Plastic Storage Box went on sale for $79.99, we knew it was time to finally buy one. When we saw the box in the store, and were able to touch it,, open it, and see how large it was for ourselves, we decided to purchase two of them. Needless to say, for people with a lot of 'stuff', these boxes provide fabulous storage. Though we have yet to assemble one of them, as one was provided pre-assembled at no charge, we can't speak to the instructions, though the Sam's greeter stated that he assembles them in less than five minutes. It cannot be very difficult, given the four walls, floor, and lid. A few screws, and all should be well. The boxes are very durable, and the hydraulic-type lid is a cool feature, as the box will stay open if you need it to. There is also a latch, if you want to add a padlock. For the durability, design, color, price, size, everything, I'd gladly purchase more of these.

Don't buy this thinking you are getting something of amazing quality. If you are looking for that, you will have to pay much more. The top is spring loaded. It only takes 10 minutes to put this thing together. It is "fairly sturdy". I wouldn't sit on it however. It has a clasp on the front to support a padlock. It seems like it will resist the sun very well over time. I have had this product for a month and it works great.

I actually came to my local store to see this storage container, and I was thrilled with the quality of it. I bought this online for my daughter, who lives in Florida, as a gift. She absolutely LOVES it! Great product...I would definitely buy it again.

We just got this delivered and couldn't wait to put it together. Less than 30 min to assemble and lightweight too. Seating is a plus on this. Love the 2 year warranty. Great product and purchased other items by Keter. The color is nice. Have lots of room left which is nice. Replaced 3 units into this one storage unit. Yard looks so much nicer and pulled together.

Used it for less than a year, and then the lid came off due to a broken hinge. I contacted the company and asked if/where I could *purchase* a replacement hinge. I did not ask for a replacement, just some guidance on how to buy a hinge and fix it myself. I received no reply. So to convince myself that I did not just waste $100, I place the lid on manually every time to keep rain and critters out of my deck box. Disappointing customer service.

Didn't take but 20 minutes to put this one together...biggest question was, would it hold up as "water proof" when it comes to our torrential Floridian summer storms? Well, we had a howler roll through over the weekend, uprooted trees, rain coming down sideways, contents of storage box...bone dry. 10/10

We have had this product for about 3 weeks now. I can attest to its ability to stay waterproof! We have had about 10 days of rain and there is not a drop in the box. It easily fits our patio chair cushions and some extra yard supplies in it without a leak. The box looks very nice and the hinges are cool because they don't let the top slam down to close. Not sure how much weight it can handle for sitting on it. My husband about 240 sat on it and you can see the box bow a bit. But for kids, I can't imagine it would bow at all. Really like the product, can't beat the price for the look an size of the unit.

We bought 1 and used it to put our pool chemicals and vacuum in (since our deck is not covered). Went back a few months later to purchase another one to put our pool floats, life jackets, etc in. This was in 2017. at the start of 2018 we purchased a 3rd to put our ion Explore boom box, cords and fans in. These things are awesome. I will say the only negative thing I have seen is the ones we purchased last year seem to have a little sway in the middle, with this said we have not had any rain in them so I say they are still great!!! I mean I bought a 3rd one so I cant complain.
