Box Beats the Competition

Bought this box to keep our patio furniture pads out of the weather yet handy to set out during good weather. We also bought a similar box of a well known competitor and found that construction-wise, the Keter Rockwood is a better designed and better built product, and is considerably easier to assemble, hands down. We've had the Keter box about a month now, and it has rained in the area quite heavily at least twice. Regardless, our patio furniture pads have stayed dry and are always at the ready when we need them. This box is a great bang for the buck, and then some! Recommended.

Cushions did not fit...

150 gallon storage box: looks like the picture, color is beautiful, sturdy, took my bf 20 min to put it together. Not a fan of metal parts on plastic, but so far no issues. I bought this because I needed a place for my seating cushions. Although this box is huge, I must've measured wrong with my cushions when choosing this. 4 deep seat/4back fit, but the lid doesn't close.

Great value at $140 with FREE shipping included. Well constructed, simple assembly, took 30 mins to complete the process from removing parts for inspection to finally completion and clean up, entire process can be done by one person. Very large interior, I purchased this box to accommodate my pool umbrellas , chair cushions and more. Is very sturdy can be used for seating or as a table top. Has rained here pretty good several times and inside of box is completely dry. The only con is the "latch assembly" is not going to hold the lid closed all by itself you will need to use a small padlock or latch ring to secure it from high winds.

I bought this to store our patio furniture cushions. It's perfect! Big enough to hold ALL the cushions a blue tooth speaker and the hammock part of the hammock! My yard looks way more organized, my items aren't getting exposed to the elements. I was concerned about taking on water, all content are bone dry after a rather heavy downpour. Also, after assembling mine it is MUCH sturdier than the example that was in Sam's. I felt there's no way a person can sit on this but maybe they didn't install the metal bars.. this things can sit an additional 2 people easy.

Sam's online store gave no dimensions, so didn't know what we had until pick-up. It's too tall for my 6'4" frame to sit comfortably on. Was hoping to dual purpose it as a deck bench. Not especially stable as the top tends to shift a bit. As long as it is, it could use some braces. It's more than we needed, but gave it to our son for shop storage. Recommendation should be "depends on use and location." It's big!

Purchased in store. When beginning to put together it was missing an entire side! Called manufacturer who promised 7 day replacement part however after 2 weeks, another call yielded “backorder” on missing side for 1-2 months! Returned to store. Bought second tote- was missing enough screws to put together even though the packaging stated 15 screws in the sealed bag. Used screws from home to finish project- frustrating.

Got the deck box, but a part was damaged. None of the packaging was damaged, so it's likely the part was damaged at Keter and not by handling by Sam's Club or delivery carrier. Contacted Keter about replacement. After 1 wrong part sent, one horrible customer service rep performance (2 were helpful), and no response from management, finally received part and assembled box (about 1 month after purchase). I'll never buy a Keter product again.

My husband assembled the box - our cushions fit perfectly and the box fit in the spot we had selected - we were very happy. About a week later the hinge on one side broke - very disappointing. Then it rained and the water ran into the box. My husband reattached the hinge but we don't believe it will hold for long.

Defective, defective, defective!

First one: after we got it home, unboxed it, inventoried the contents, and discovered the entire bag of hardware was missing. Back to Sam's Club. Second one: got it home, unboxed, and entirely assembled. Last piece was the lid and it was badly cracked. Disassemble. Back into the box. Back to Sam's Club. We did not go for number 3... Bought one elsewhere. BTW, all of the boxes were factory sealed so this was a quality issue with Keter.
