I'd say it works great if you are changing your tampons as needed. It's not going to save you from an overflowing situation. The plastic applicators are smooth and easy to use and the plastic wrappers tear easily. The wrappers are a soft plastic and make minimal to no crackling noise. No crazy perfume and no irritation.
