cardboard applicator has nothing to grip. Gets slippery, and nearly impossible to get the tampon to come out of applicator once it is slippery. Why did you EVER change from the old design that has been great for YEARS?! If it ain't broke, don't fix it! These allow leakage like crazy, and the leakguard doesn't work one bit. These are terrible tampons. So disappointing as I have used tampax since I was young. Am now going to something else; different brand. With all the terrible reviews, I would think P&G would go back to the tried and true old design.

Ive never been one for tampons the whole Idea of it freaked me out. recently Ive bought them and the comfort and protection is AMAZING! I literaly did not know it was theyre, ive been missing out on a good thing for many years. I always say TAMPAX PEARL! when my friends ask what should I get?? <3 love this product and company.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the tampax pearl brand of tampons. The plastic applicator is a must for me. Its easy to insert and remove. The larger box can usually get me through two periods. I don't have to worry about any unwanted leaks either with them since the string is braided and it catches anything that may get to it. They never give me any problems. They work well for my needs.

These have been my go to tampons for years. They offer great leak protection on regular days and don’t have to worry about any accidents. They are comfortable to wear and stay put even when working out. I like the design of the applicator because it’s smooth and glides in easily without discomfort.

The most recent applicator change/update was a huge step back. It's been said by others but I'm going to say again...nothing to hold on to, it doesn't insert well, 1/4 of the time the tampon doesn't get pushed out of the applicator. Not convenient at work when I don't have many options. I've been using these for years but will be looking for another brand. Plus the packaging. It used to so simple: purple, yellow, green. Now all the packages are the same kaleidoscope with bits of yellow and a letter R or green and a letter S. (I haven't been able to find light since the change.) It is not convenient. Because I have trouble with the applicator & putting in, it is not comfortable. I almost always feel it & it feels like it's about to fall out. Also because of the applicator & the tampon not leaving it, it is also not discreet: I am back & forth getting new tampons. (Also not economical as I waste a good 1/4 of each box.)
