Just a very good tampon to have handy. They are also easy to carry with you anywhere, small enough to slip into a purse or even a pocket.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tampax Pearl Regular Tampon worked well for me. Its leak guard protection is that the tampon expands once inside. I find that this can put a little noticeable pressure inside but it also seals everything very nicely and keeps it from leaking. The plastic applicator was smooth and it was easy to use to insert the tampon. I find that some plastic applicators can pinch skin when pull them out and this one did not. Overall a good quality product that get's the job done.

I work as a chef, so my entire shift is on my feet and non stop. I don't have time for my tampon to fail me, and these did. I bled through 3 of them on a shift, to the point the last time it ruined my clothing. I thought "maybe I was just too active for what they expect" only to find they even failed when relaxing at home. As if this time isn't frustrating enough, this doesn't make it any easier. I'm ready to just throw nearly full box and find something that wont fail me.

I have been using Tampax Pearl since it was introduced. No tampon can compare as far as comfort, protection and discretion. Most other tampons I can feel all day and have an odd smell when removed. I've never had that problem with the Pearl. I don't feel it and it even protects when I work an 8-hour shift with no restroom break. Not to mention that the wrapper is not crinkly plastic, so no one else has to know. Definitely the best tampon I've used and the best value for the money.
