The most recent applicator change/update was a huge step back. It's been said by others but I'm going to say again...nothing to hold on to, it doesn't insert well, 1/4 of the time the tampon doesn't get pushed out of the applicator. Not convenient at work when I don't have many options. I've been using these for years but will be looking for another brand. Plus the packaging. It used to so simple: purple, yellow, green. Now all the packages are the same kaleidoscope with bits of yellow and a letter R or green and a letter S. (I haven't been able to find light since the change.) It is not convenient. Because I have trouble with the applicator & putting in, it is not comfortable. I almost always feel it & it feels like it's about to fall out. Also because of the applicator & the tampon not leaving it, it is also not discreet: I am back & forth getting new tampons. (Also not economical as I waste a good 1/4 of each box.)

I often have issues wearing tampons because they just never seem to sit quite right which makes an uncomfortable time worse. Luckily, these help quite a bit. They're smooth and easy to insert and because they could be placed as needed, they're much more comfortable to wear as long as I need to.

I do like the plastic applicator for comfort reasons, they aren’t very eco-friendly though. I feel like they could do more to make them better for women and the environment but then they would just cost more.

I've tried pads, menstrual cups and other brands of tampons, but the Tampax Pearl line is the only one for me. They have the best absorbency, the best protection against leaks and they are the most comfortable. As a woman with a heavier period, Tampax's products are the most reliable for keeping Mother Nature from ruining a nice white skirt or pants and that's a freedom I wouldn't have without my Tampax.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are comfortable and easy to use. In my opinion as an older woman, these are better suited for younger girls or light days. The regular is more light a light day for me, so you have to change a lot more often. Other than that I liked them.

I love this product!!! When tom's (time of the month) around I can definitely count on Tampax pearl. They're so easy to use, if you're a first timer Tampax pearl has you covered with clear instructions. Trust me when I say that this product will save you from many embarrassing moments. I can do anything when tom's around because when I put it on I literary forget I have my period and I go about my day without having to worry. I definitely recommend this product!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These tampons are very comfortable to insert and use for several hours. They do an amazing job at collecting everything and ensuring there is no leakage. They stay in place and expand without me even feeling anything.

I absolutely LOOVE the Tampax pearl products! Since I tried the tampons for the first time in 2002, I've been addicted. Prior to using Tampax pearl, I never even used tampons, due to the fact that I never seemed to be able to figure out the right way to use them. Tampons always felt really uncomfortable, until I found Tampax pearl. My only problem is that I live in Norway, so since I moved back home after graduating from Emerson College in Boston in 2004, I had to have friends in the US send them to me. I recently found out that they have been introduced on the Spanish market, but they are yet to appear in stores here in Norway, which I really regret. I hope to see them here very soon. I am 1000% sure that they would sell really well here in Norway, and since other Tampax products are on the Norwegian market, why not Tampax pearl??
