I use them before golfing and other athletic events just to help me with moisture leakage at times. I don't just use them in the cycle period... I use them a lot in-between for extra protection.

Comfort, on the other hand, well I have yet to meet a tampon that will meet that standard in my book. I'll say the comfort was about average(not better or worse than others I have tried). Doesn't do a great job with odor control so keep that in mind. Overall, I will rate them average.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off i absolutely love tampax tampons. These tampax pearl work great for my flow. The plastic applicator makes insertion very easy, and clean. They absorb well, and i rarely have any leaks if any it usually is contained to the tampon's string. They fit comfortably as well, and i don't feel as though i have to remove and replace. Tampax pearls are a great product, and i'll be purchasing more in the future.

And the regular ones work for light and heavy days. They do not hurt going in or out. A box 18 last me over a month. The package is also nice. I love that I have no leaks while wearing these tampons.
