The plastic applicator is easy to use and does not pinch. Perfect for light flow days. Comfortable usage. Fits easily in pockets or small purses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the tampax pearl brand of tampons. The plastic applicator is a must for me. Its easy to insert and remove. The larger box can usually get me through two periods. I don't have to worry about any unwanted leaks either with them since the string is braided and it catches anything that may get to it. They never give me any problems. They work well for my needs.

I like this brand of tampons. For the most part, they protect pretty well, and they last long enough when I have a long day at work or school and don't know if I will have many times for birthday breaks. Overall, I would reccommend these to girls not knowing what type of tampons to buy.

The Tampax Pearl plastic tampons are the greatest product ever - fits even in the smallest purse and works great - never a leakage problem or issue like that. It's the only product I would ever consider using and it's always so dependable. Thank you Tampax!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tampax pearl is my go to tampon. They're comfortable, easy to insert and have a leak guard braid. You can wear them up to eight hours with no discomfort. They're perfume free and dye free. I feel comfortable and confident when I use them.

When Tampax shortened the cardboard applicator and added a grip feature, I was no longer able to insert the product effectively, so I switched to the Pearl product. It seems a grip has recently been added to the Pearl tampon applicators, as well. Again, I am unable to effectively insert the product due to the grip feature. For me, the grip is a problem for two reasons. First, it MUST be gripped for insertion, and this means I can't place the product as high/deep as I'd like. Second, the friction of the gripping/plunging action at the point of application pulls the product downward slightly since my hand can't go higher. This results in the product being slightly lower than is comfortable. I wish the old Tampax design was still available. I rated 3 stars because I'm sure anatomies differ and some people won't encounter this difficulty. For me, it's a major problem.
