I used these for years and years and the string always irritated me. I found out recently too, that many tampon brands add extra things to the tampons so you have to use more...and I don't love that. In any case I've switched to pads or diva cups and I experience far less irritation.

Who likes having a period?? I know I don't but I do know that the Tampax pearls are amazing! You can't feel them and you can still go on with your day without worries!! I buy the Tampax pearls and only the Tampax pearls. When I believe and like a product I stick to that product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My teenage daughter has been using these this summer when going to the beach and has been very happy with them. They are easy to use and are comfortable when in place. She has not had any problems with leaking. They keep her feeling fresh and don't limit her ability to join her friends in activities. Overall, we are very happy with these and highly recommend them.

I have used Tampax in the past an have never had a problem until now. Evidently they have redesigned the plastic plunger, so now the shape is small, oval and ribbed. It appears that it is ribbed to produce friction so you can better push, but there's something about this new design that makes it very difficult to insert the plunger. I would estimate that I give up on about 1 in 5 tampons and try with a new one. They just won't budge, even though I try lightening or increasing my grip. Sometimes I even try it two handed - talk about awkward! I'm a regular size/shape woman (5'4" 130 lb) with regular fingers, right handed. With that said, the initial insertion (prior to plunging) is smooth and they are comfortable. I use the Supers, and they sometimes leak, but i'm not faulting Tampax for that - I should probably get the next level up. I won't buy this brand again though until they re-shape the design. My overall rating of 2 stars is based on the difficulty to insert the plunger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The beauty of this organic cotton tampon is that you are NOT giving up any of the benefits of conventional tampons. The applicator is made of plant based ingredients and is as comfortable to use as a traditional plastic, and FAR better than a cardboard applicator or none at all. These really check all of the boxes- convenient, organic, no-bleach, comfortable applicator, and reliable. The tampon is fully capable to contain and hold your flow based on the stated capacity- it functions like any other "regular" capacity tampon. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to this to another woman. In fact, I think we should all be cognizant of the products we are consuming and putting into our bodies. The organic cotton, no bleach, dyes, or fragrance is essential for something sitting in your body for hours! 10/10 would recommend these!
