I am normally a compact girl but this time the store near me was out of my usual so I op-ed for the more expensive tampax, the pearl. I'm regular to light over the course of my period. I leaked once a day with these, usually with barely a trickle on the tampon ( 20 minutes later!) and when I am at work (sitting all day) its very uncomfortable as it "opens". I can almost feel it. (ick.)on a plus side The applicator was easy to use and the wrapping is easier to use for disposal. Needless to say next time I'll go find my compacts before buying these again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tampax tampons are my go to product. They’re always reliable and never let me down. I’ve been using them since my first cycle and will probably use them until my last one. I generally use the regular, as pictured, but I do keep the light and supers on hand as well. I like the packaging as they stay sealed when they’re in my purse, car or desk and they’re always intact for use. They rarely leak and when they do it’s my cycle and my mistake in using the wrong size or not changing them on time, I’m sure. The Pearl variety is nice for the string. It does make a bit of difference in leak protection and I do grab them if I see them. I have no complaints with the brand whatsoever. Tampax is the way to go for your period needs, period.

I love the fact that TP Plastic is supercomfortable and no leakage at all!! with other brands I need to wear a pant liner just incase...) I also love the applicator! but I am not going to buy these again(couldnt wait until i finish what i have now, tbh) because i prefer biodegradables.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works like a tampon is expected to. Nice slim design and easy to insert. Definitely not for use on heavy days. But for light days, such as very first day or very last day they work just fine and are good to keep in purse for the just in case.

I will never use anything other than Tampax Pearl tampons again!.. They are super easy to insert, they don't leak even on my heavy days, and I can' t feel a thing! I've been a Tampax fan since I was a teen, but these Pearl's are the best thing ever!.. I've always hated the cardboard applicators and was soo happy to try these out.. Definitely worth the few extra dollars! I'll even go out of my way to find another store if my usual store is out of stock. Tampax Pearls, I'm a fan for life, or at least until menopause, haha!

For me personally, if I used the regular on a heavy day it may last an hour at best. So something to consider for those with heavy periods.
