The one good thing about them was they did have a nice and smooth glide. After that they hurt though. I took a look at these and they expand like a rectangle as opposed to a circle and it was not comfortable at all for me. Also, the packaging was not as easy to open as I am use to. Back to my original.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used another brand for years and I ALWAYS had leaks from my tampons. I swapped back to Tampax and I swear I hardly EVER have a leak. I hate buying new underwear when that happens and I'm so glad that these work!

I am normally a compact girl but this time the store near me was out of my usual so I op-ed for the more expensive tampax, the pearl. I'm regular to light over the course of my period. I leaked once a day with these, usually with barely a trickle on the tampon ( 20 minutes later!) and when I am at work (sitting all day) its very uncomfortable as it "opens". I can almost feel it. (ick.)on a plus side The applicator was easy to use and the wrapping is easier to use for disposal. Needless to say next time I'll go find my compacts before buying these again.

The applicator is narrow and smooth enough for easy entry and also easy to grip and quickly insert the tampon. I can be sensitive especially on the first few days and this style causes me zero discomfort during application and removal
