I highly prefer the plastic applicator too, with the rounded end that these have, it's much easier to use than cardboard ones. As long as you wear the correct size, you shouldn't have any issues! I definitely recommend these if you're new to plastic tampons as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the tampax pearl brand of tampons. The plastic applicator is a must for me. Its easy to insert and remove. The larger box can usually get me through two periods. I don't have to worry about any unwanted leaks either with them since the string is braided and it catches anything that may get to it. They never give me any problems. They work well for my needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] R is for regular. The tampon works as expected. They absorbed well and the rounded top of the applicator makes them easy and smooth to use. The braided string is also absorbent to help prevent leaks. These are not the collapsible applicators so they are a bit bigger if bringing along in a small purse. Additionally the applicator does appear to be make out of plastic rather than a compostable/recyclable material. These tampons are perfume and dye free
