Buyers beware

I've bought these for years and I've never noticed if these come half full or if these are supposed to be like this but the one that I just purchased is only half full and the woman at the customer service counter claims that they've always have been like this. So my question is, is this really a bargain?

We measure our product by weight not by volume. Over time, the Crystals settle at the bottom of the container filling the air pockets. If you feel uncertain, close the lid and turn the product upside-down to loosen the crystals.
