I use Clif Bars as my go-to nutrition for road cycling. There are many great flavors (my favorite is Crunchy Peanut Butter), and the texture is good. The bars are soft and moist enough that they are easy to eat on the go, but dry enough that they don't get melted or weird in my jersey pockets during a long ride on a hot day. I do avoid the bars with frosting for this reason, but that makes Crunchy Peanut Butter a perfect fit.

I recently got a assortment of kids Cliff Z Bars and they were a hit with the 2 year old grand baby and the adults in the house! the chocolate brownie was the favorite but they were all really good. Will definitely keep these stocked up in the pantry for a healthier snack.

We received a sample to taste the Clif Kid Z Bar. I immediately had the kids try each bar and tell me what they thought as these are marketed to kids. Both kids loved the taste and texture of the bars. They said they would love these as a snack. The Chocolate Brownie was the ultimate flavor for both of them. The only thing as a parent I wish it had more protein and slightly less sugar as we are trying to watch our carb intake. Overall they were delicious, tasted great, and most importantly kid approved.

My kids tried each of the bars and they all agreed their favorite is the Chocolate Chip and the 2nd favorite was the Chocolate Brownie. They were not fans of the Iced Oatmeal Cookie one. I liked all 3. The texture is soft and chewy. My kids prefer that to the crunchy type. The Chocolate Brownie one is more of a dense cake texture but would be a great after school snack with a glass of milk. The chocolate is unsweet so it isn't too sugary too. Overall, these were a great grab & go snack the kids could take with us as we were on our way to a practice or event. They didn't make a mess and seemed to make them happy.
