I received a few of these bars as part of the star reviewer program. Let me start by saying I have texture issues. My food has to be the consistency I expect, otherwise I have a hard time eating it. When it comes to snack/protein bars and the like, I prefer them to be on the drier side. These, for me, are a bit to “mushy.” I did enjoy the flavor though. Having said that, my 16 year old step son absolutely loved these bars. He enjoyed the flavor, didn’t have a problem with the consistency, and asked me to pick up a box next time I go to Sam’s club. So, while I as an adult didn’t care for them, I’m giving them 5 stars because they are “CLIF kid” bars, and the kid really liked them and wants more.

We tried the iced oatmeal cookie, chocolate chip and brownie ZBar’s and they were a hit! They are soft and delicious. I think the iced oatmeal was my granddaughter’s favorite since she opened and devoured it before letting us have a taste. The brownie was a bit rich so that will probably be one that we share. They are perfect to throw in a bag to prevent the “hangry” tantrums on busy days or school lunch boxes. I will definitely be getting more of these.

Me and my two kids tried each of the 3 flavors of these chewy granola bars. My 3 year old didn't care for any of them, but my 5 year old loved them. I also really liked them. I usually prefer kids granola bars instead of the adult because I like the size better which holds true for these as well. I appreciate how not overly frosted they are! I do not tend to like chocolate chip cookies, but my favorite of the three flavors was Chocolate chip. It actually tasted similar to the dough, which is the part I do like in the cookie. I also appreciate that the total sugars is 10-11g as that is something I watch when buying snacks for my kids. My second favorite was the Iced oatmeal. My 5 year olds favorite was the chocolate brownie and that one would definitely be good for chocolate lovers. If I could ask for anything to be different, I really wish I could find a tasty granola bar without any trace of peanuts so I could send some to school. But, these will still be great to have as an after school snack at home and I already put a box in my shopping cart for my next order-pickup!

I bought these for my sons lunch box snack and was pleasantly surprised that I liked them too. I tried the all three flavors and the iced oatmeal cookie was my personal favorite. The oatmeal cookie taste just like a fresh baked oatmeal cookie, you would never know it is packed with whole grained goodness!

I find these snack bars convenient to carry since they are individually wrapped. These bars are based on oats and sugars. Wow—what a lot of sugar, from tapioca, to figs, to cane sugar and cane syrup. The high sugar and oat content means that these bars taste like sweet oats. A bit like oatmeal cookie dough, but not as fresh as homemade. There is nothing special about these bars but my kids liked them enough for me to buy them again (my kids are picky). We tried 3 different flavors that all sound like desserts (chocolate brownie, chocolate chip and iced oatmeal cookie). Obviously, this isn't healthy in the way eating some carrots is healthy,but when it comes to the "bar" (of the oatmeal-, or energy-, or protein-, or snack- variety), you could do a whole lot worse for your kids than these. And they are Organic.

I use Clif Bars as my go-to nutrition for road cycling. There are many great flavors (my favorite is Crunchy Peanut Butter), and the texture is good. The bars are soft and moist enough that they are easy to eat on the go, but dry enough that they don't get melted or weird in my jersey pockets during a long ride on a hot day. I do avoid the bars with frosting for this reason, but that makes Crunchy Peanut Butter a perfect fit.

I wanted my toddlers to try these but they were resistant (as with most toddlers lol) so I ate them myself. I really enjoyed the chocolate chip one but the iced oatmeal cookie has been my favorite! I am a breastfeeding mother and the iced oatmeal cookie bar really helped me increase my milk supply. I’ll be stocking up on these for myself!

This is a snack the kids enjoy. It is not exactly health food, has a lot of sugar, but not the worst kind. The size is appropriate for children. I use it as a between meal pick me up snack, especially when we are on the go. All the flavors are good but favorite is chocolate chip.

I tried this Clif kid zbar multi pack. I love each of the three flavors. The texture is soft and reminds me of a cake pop rather than a traditional granola bar. The cons for me are I wish it had more protein and less sugar. It is 24 carbs per bar which for my family's dietary needs is too high.

Overall these bars are excellent and kiddo approved via a 3 year old and 7 month old. I like the ingredient combinations, the flavors are tasty although I would have liked raisins or cranberries in the oatmeal bars. The message from the CEO's was a nice touch. I'm not against gmo usage, I think they have their place. I don't like the added sugar contents but overall think they are better than a traditional protein bar.
