I purchased this coffee maker just a little over a year ago and have been extremely disappointed over the poor quality of it. The carafe began leaking a couple of months ago. It began leaking where the plastic rim attaches to the glass. They use a bead of silicon around the rim to attach it to the glass. The bead of silicon was applied very sloppily and began leaking. A new carafe cost an additional $16. Shortly afterwards it began leaking out about 1/4 cup water from the bottom each brew cycle. I took the bottom apart to check the two hoses and found nothing to be wrong with them. I concluded that the leakage either resulted from a small crack in the pump or one of the two plastic fittings to which the hoses attached. Either way it was not worth driving 100 mile roundtrip (time and fuel) to a repair facility or even mail it in for repair. I threw it in the dumpster and purchased a Cuisinart.

is there a way to dim the light on the clock cause it`s a little bright

This coffeemaker replaced another similar one. We enjoyed the other on nut we wanted a stainless steel look. Too, we have three extra pots....;-)

I am SO happy I got this maker, Mr. Coffee has been my brand for more than 40 years and always will be. Keep up the good work!

It works great, coffee is delicious, and the red color matches my wife's kitchen. The ease of operation is the best part of this coffee maker.

I have bbe using mr coffee since 1972 still using them it is a great coffeemaker I would not buy any other coffeemaker. keep up the good work.

We really like this coffee pot because the circular area that the water sprays out is larger so it sprays on to the coffee much more evenly.

This coffee maker worked for two weeks then quit. I threw it away. I am really dissatisfied with Mr. Coffee products.
