This is the best mr coffee.....it has a filter for water and it REALLY makes a difference

My mom bought this for us a little over a month ago & 4 times I have awoken to find coffee all over our counter, in our drawers, on the floors, etc. due to the coffee basket not sitting right. This thing is garbage. I will not buy another Mr Coffee brand maker!

I absolutely loved this coffee pot the first few months I had it, then realized it had a "clean" mode. Followed the instructions to run a cleaning cycle and it never worked again even after trying troubleshooting. Very disappointed because it really was the best pot I've ever had.

I bought this coffee maker shortly after my wedding and it STILL makes great coffee! I was married in1989! After daily usage it is only now starting to leak a little so I am delighted to see that the same model is made. This has been my all-time favorite, dependable coffee maker and I highly recommend it.

I bought this model and used it barely 100 times. Since I drink mainly tea, brewing coffee only once or twice a week, it was - yup, you guessed it - out of warranty by the time it conked. Yes, it brews nicely but now it's a piece of trash. If you want something that lasts, I suggest you avoid this manufacturer.

This coffee maker is great. The clock is easy to set, the time to brew is easy to set, the brew speed is super easy to change/set. The only minor issue I have with the maker is that the pot does not easily empty out the water when filling the coffee maker. I think the lid could use a little improvement. Other than that, I love it!! I've had many coffee makers and this one is perfect in almost every respect.

We have owned 3 "Mr. Coffee" coffee makers. The first was/is model # TFX20 which we have owned for many years and it still works fine. My only complaint is that the decanter tends to drip and spill coffee so you have to be very careful when pouring a cup. This coffee maker has become a back-up over the last 6 years. We purchased a model # JWX31 two years ago and it only lasted approximately 1 1/2 years.......it would not start the percolation process. We liked the coffee maker very much until it failed. We liked the coffee maker enough that we decided to purchase our current unit and similar model # JWX36RR last November 2015 when it was on sale. After only 7 months of use, approximately 2 times daily, it has now failed.......it will not start the percolation process. It appears to me (a retired electrical/electronics engineer) that the heating/control components have very poor reliability and quality. At least I still have a back-up. I love that first cup of coffee in the morning.

Love this coffeemaker and it's many wonderful features EXCEPT the lid falls off of the decanter just like the cheaper models. I have had this happen with other Mr. Coffee products with a removable lid, but they were less expensive. Please Sunbeam, make a decanter that the lid stays on. It is so inconvenient to have the lid drop off when one pours a cup of coffee! The products with a lid that is not removable is preferable although less convenient to load into the dishwasher.
