I use this oil in all of my high performance vehicles. Except the ones that require 5w 30 but I also use Mobil 1 in them. I have never had any issues with this oil or seen any wear or mechanical failure inside a motor that I have ran this oil in. I recommend it to anybody that I do work to their car.

Excellent oil

I have used Mobil 1 ever since it came out and have always been very happy with how clean my engine internals have stayed. On one car I had a head gasket leak at 200,000 miles and the mechanic called me in when he pulled the head off. He said take a look at the internals they look brand new!!! With the valve cover off everything did look brand new, no sludge or coatings of any kind and no discoloration from oil build up or staining either! He asked what oil I have used and I told him Mobil 1 !!

Use Full Synthetic motor oil is better

I just go with what the manual book says on the recommended motor oil for my brand new 2013 toyota camry back when they first came out with the new camry in 2013. I use the recommended 0w20 and have never went back to standard motor oil. If your owners manual says to use synthetic then i recommend you just go Full Synthetic instead of the JUST synthetic for all newer vehicles that are now starting to use more synthetic type motor oil for better fuel economy. There are a lot of different version of synthetic motor oils out there so make sure you get the right type of synthetic motor oil that is right for your vehicle. FYI if you're gonna use Full Synthetic motor oil type then it is recommend that you change your motor oil every 10k mile instead of the old 5k mileage. That is how good full sythentic motor oils are today as newer vehicles are leaning toward better fuel efficiency.

The only oil for our cars

I first began using Mobil One synthetic motor oil for my 1994 Honda Civic, which I purchased new in 1993. At 150,000 miles I decided to check my valve lash adjustment. I took off the valve cover and inside everything looked like new. I couldn't believe it. I changed the oil and filter every 7,500 miles, and the valves were still within specs as well. Today I use it in both of our cars, our 2016 Volt, and 2010 Prius, in 0w20 weight now. I will never use any other motor oil then Mobil Synthetic motor oil.

1986 Briggs & Stratton 140 CC lawnmower.

I have used MOBIL 1 SYNTHETIC in all my Porsches (street and track) since the 80's, but that is another story. This story is about a lawn mower which I bought new and ran "wide open" as a residential "bush hog" for 32 years. I changed the oil every spring with MOBIL 1 SYNTHETIC and noticed each year the oil while dirty (because of the atrocious operating environment) the engine used no oil and performed flawlessly. I became fascinated at about 20 years when I realized this lawnmower was falling apart in every way, wheels, carb, housing sheet metal, studs and bolts backing out of the engine, it was a complete wreck EXCEPT: it burned no oil and suffered no mechanical failures after running for decades and thousands of hours wide open (wished I had a HOBBS). To say the least, I loved this mower, my friends and neighbors howled at my eccentricity, but I paid them no mind, I know and understand true devotion, PLUS I had an ongoing SCIENCE PROJECT which I was going to push (literally and figuratively) to its conclusion. At 30 years the mower deck was "fully ventilated" and was probably dangerous, it needed its third set of wheels and the whole affair was just simply "string and bailing wire". None the less, I was not giving up on "The Red Devil"...I had owned this mower half my life and I was beginning to wonder who was going to be the last one running. I had hoped to open the engine one day and examine the wear index. However, at 32 years my better half insisted that "The Red Devil" had to go. I presented it to a young ARMY vet (who had admired it from afar) with the understanding that he would only use MOBIL-1 SYN and contact me IF the engine ever needed to be taken down as I wished to see the mysteries within. In great solemnity he assured me he would honor the terms and nervously loaded The Red Devil it into his truck. I take great comfort in knowing that if there is a heaven for lawn mower engines, "The red devil" is holding court! I concluded years ago that The Red Devil's longevity was 100% due to MOBIL-1 SYNTHETIC. To this day, I can not hear a mower run without harking back to all the good times with The Red Devil. In spite of all my pleas, my attorneys say I do not have a case against MOBIL and have suggested therapy.

Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy Motor Oil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have purchased Mobil synthetic motor oil for my vehicles for years now, because it is rated to be better than conventional motor oil. It is formulated with additives that enhance the oil's performance. I have had zero problems with my engines.

196,000 Miles and going

I've run this oil in my Honda Civic for most of it's life. Even after 196,000 miles the engine still consumes no significant oil between changes (It never gets down to the add mark before it's time to change it). I change at 1 year or 10,000 miles which ever comes first. I used to always hit 10,000 miles between changes but in the last few years it's been about 7,000 to 8,000 between oil changes since I hit the year mark first. This is a great oil and I'll continue to use Mobil 1.

Glad to make the switch

When I first started driving, the first oil brand I found for sale was Castrol Synthetic. I used that for a couple years until I started reading online forums and talking to other people. Mechanics, car enthusiasts, etc - many of them agreed that Mobil 1 had a great formula and a great product. I've been using Mobil 1 for almost a decade now and both of my cars have made it past the 100k mark with no oil-related issues. I highly recommend Mobil 1 products

absolute best

we run a fleet of both gas and diesel and for as long as i can remember weve been gettin drums of regular mobil 1 10w40 and it hasnt let us down yet. we havent had a failure yet that could b attributed to the oil n the engines idle for a week and a half sometimes... thats saying something. i also use mobil 1 in all my personal trucks, small engines, bikes everything! it hasnt let me down yet in fact when u tear somethin down after running mobil 1 its amazing how little wear there is ,metal against metal should just eat itself alive... n not only does it not do that but u cant even tell they were mating surfaces half the time. the only thing i like more than mobil 1 oil is lucas oil stabilizer, that stuffs almost cheating its also a whole different class tho so no disrespect to mobil

2011 CRV. Best way to go.

The 2011 Honda CRV I own is not known for its fuel efficiency. So I want to get the most for my money so I use Mobile 1 Advanced Fuel Economy. It also gives me quick starts on cold Nebraska winter days. I change the oil twice a year , and the engine looks like new when l looking into the engine with the filler cap removed. You get what you pay for here.
