Perfect fit for most Mercedes-Benz autos that require M-B approval 229.3 & 229.5 and other European autos (check your owner's manual to confirm). Much less expensive as M-B branded oil. These quart bottles are much more convenient than the 5 quart containers that are sold in Walmart since M-B vehicles typically require 6 - 9 quarts per oil change.

I use Mobil 1 (0W40) in my Mercedes. It takes 8 quarts and I like getting it in 1 qt. bottles. I have to buy two of the boxes containing six 1 qt bottles. Many auto stores only carry the 5 qt bottles which are more difficult to handle, or they sell the 1 qt bottles at individual pricing, which makes it more costly. Order two cases and had it delivered to home with free shipping.

After buying my last new car, for the first time I started having my oil changed at the dealer with the recommended regular 5w30 oil. Well, I decided to start changing my own oil again, partly to save money, and partly to start using synthetic oil in my engine. I see all these new viscosities 0w-20 and others designed for cold climates. My OEM recommended is 5w30. Then I see Mobile 1 offers a 0w-40 specifically designed for European cars. 0w-40 sounds like the like a great choice for any climate and gasoline engine. My car has 100K miles I always followed the OEM guidelines of 5w-30and changed oil every 5K miles. I haven't had any major issues, but I have noticed recently that my engine seems to not run quite as smoothly, even after an oil change. I switched to this Mobil 1 0w-40 and my engine smoothed right out. Knowing it provides superior lubrication under "any" condition this is my new oil. When on sale this is the best you can buy.

I have a 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan with 282,544 miles on it. With a Quality Filter and MOBIL 1 0W-40 it is still running GREAT!!!

I use M1 0-40 in two Mercedes because that's what Mercedes recommends and that recommendation has never let me down. I also use M1 5w40 in my Porsche notwithstanding the naysayers on Porsche blogs.

this oil is formulated for tight specs engines in changing wetter conditions, once can tell when running the engine and looking for metal particles after an oil change. if you like your sports car don’t look any further.

It’s cheaper at Walmart by the jug or box. I just wanted the 6 bottles to be able to pour the box into. Bottles everywhere else (including Sams off-sale) are ridiculously priced.
