Best in the long run

I know something about motor oil. I worked as a driver sales rep for Pennzoil for 6 years. Pennsylvania Crude was once the absolute best; Quaker State, Pennzoil, Wolfs Head, and Kendall were designated 100% pure Pennsylvania crude, no longer. They are all now blends of world oil. Mobil was the first usable 100 Synthetic oil. Once know as the 50,000. mile oil, just change the filter and add a quart. With auto engines of today, I change all of our vehicles in May (summer) 5w30 or 10w30 and November (winter) 0w30 and 5w30 depending on vehicles, to be prepared for cold starts. Don't mess with synthetic blends OR environmental friendly (used re-refined oil). Its your car you depend on it.

Right Quantity

My engine needs 5.5 quarts with a new oil filter. With the standard 5 gallon jug, I need to buy a single quart at a much higher unit price. This lets me do my oil change with a half quart left to top off my engine before the next oil change if needed.

Change your oil. Save your engine

Best oil for long engine life. Even the most expensive motor oil is dirt cheap when compared to replacing an engine. I use this oil in my generators they run long and hot during summer storm power outages. Great synthetic oil that can take the heat.

Best of the best

This is, in my opinion, the best motor oil on the market. I used it in a car which had over 90,000 miles when I decided to install some hotter cams. The lack of gunk and crud in the head was astonishing. It really keeps the engine clean, which enables it to last longer. If you lease a car, it isn't a big deal. If you buy a car and drive it until the wheels fall off this should help you get every mile out of that car.

Buy this oil.

Mobil 1 is the best oil you can buy. I have a 2007 Camry with 190,000 miles on it. I started using Mobil 1 since it was new, replacing it between 8,000 to 10,000 miles. It does not smoke, rattle, or leak. I also have been buying it from Sams. They have the best price anywhere. Believe me, I've shopped around, Sams has the best deal.

I use it once a year in all my cars

I started using Mobile 1 in the summer of 1987 in a 1986 Pontiac Fiero 2.8 liter V-6 after driving it 10,000 miles to seat the parts. I changed it typically every summer and did drive it slightly under 15K miles in each year. In 2000 I had a head gasket blow due to overheating because of a loss of coolant and had to remove the cylinder head. The cylinder wear had yielded a ridge on the cylinder tops that was barely detectable using a fingernail ! While the head was off and it would not be a major effort to remove the other head and change out the rings and bearings if needed, I pulled the pan to check the bearings. The main and rod bearings had no significant wear and most of the bearing surface was still gray and not even shined. This was after 150,000 miles!. I have used this oil in every car since I saw that. Almost no detectable wear after 150,000 miles and only summer oil changes! After each oil change the removed oil still felt greasy but normal oil seemed to feel watery if that makes any sense to you. Also for some reason I rarely had to add more than a quart during that entire year. In addition the cost is lower than for standard motor oil as it requires 1/4 to 1/5 as many oil changes!
