If you want the best... Mobil 1 is the only way to

I'm a 46 year old man that was turned onto Mobil 1 oil from my grandfather, they used Mobil 1 in all their fleet vehicles! After using Mobil 1, I can honestly say... I have never had Any internal engine failure on any vehicle I have owned! I only & strictly use Mobil 1 & wouldn't change to another product! In my opinion... I use only the best!

200,000+ miles KIA SOUL Mobil 1 Full Synthetic Oil

Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 5W20 until 75,000 miles then Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 5W30. My wife's 2016 KIA SOUL would crank and run with no issues right up until someone hit her from behind on the Interstate and totaled her car. She was going about 55 mph and they were going at least 80 to 100 mph. The care was folded under, but the engine was running like normal while the Highway Patrol had to pry her out of the car and the Tow Truck guy had to open the hood and disable it to get the engine to stop running. My wife suffered no injuries. We went and purchased a new KIA SPORTAGE and are using Mobil 1 Full Synthetic Oil in it. Who ever buys that car for the engine is getting a solid KIA SOUL engine. At 200,000 miles we started using Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 20,000 mile oil. That Soul would crank and start like a new car. We have a 2001 Ford F-250 V-10 Triton Crew Cab and 2002 Ford F-250 5.4L Crew Cab 4X4 and they both are above 200,000 miles and we run Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 20,000 mile oil in them.

Rod through block

I bought this oil to replace old oil in my daughter's 2009 Chevrolet Suburban, 3 days later( approximately 75 miles ). She called me to come help her because she was broke down at the end of the road I live on. I soon discovered the piston sticking out the engine block. Engine oil life is still at 100%. Very DISSATISFIED

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Every Mobil 1 oil is backed by a limited warranty, and we'd like to take a deeper look at the situation. Please feel free to reach out to us at 1-800-ASK-MOBIL for warranty assistance.

The best engine oil.

I've been using exclusively Mobil 1 full synthetic (5W30 and 5W20) in every vehicle I own and many others that I maintain on a regular basis since my dad taught me how to change oil nearly 20 years ago now. Simply put when performance and protection matter this is your best option for engine lubricant. The wear protection is second to none and you never have to worry about whether or not an OEM will question the oil if there is a warranty issue because this product is better than theirs or is their recommended choice for their premium vehicles. They also have great racing lubricants for protection under the most extreme and demanding of conditions. I am a believer in using this oil if you value protecting your vehicle's engine past the warranty period and want to see vehicles reach or exceed their engine's max service life.

The only motor oil I use.

I have used Mobil 1 for many years in everything from autos to motorcycles, lawn mowers, snow blowers, firearms, etc. It has generally kept my machines running long and strong. It also lasts at least 2x as long as dino oil. Just make sure to use a proper oil filter for long life synthetics.

Low oil pressure in my Corvette.

My 2007 Corvette with 60,000 miles maintains 28 psi at 70 mph 1750 rpm, oil temperature of 220 degrees. This hasn't changed since I've owned it for two years, considering changing to a higher weight or different oil manufacturer. Cold oil pressure can climb to 80 psi, when hot pressure falls off rapidly. Mobile 1 suggested to keep using 5-30, or maybe 0-30, but not 0-40. Why? I feel my oil concerns are due to thermal breakdown. The only way to increase oil pressure when hot is to use a higher weight oil, or a better grade oil that resist the effects of heat. Just my 2 cents worth...

Good afternoon. Thank you for reviewing our product. In response to your question, we always recommend that customers follow the advice provided in their vehicle’s owners’ manual. Should you wish to use an alternate viscosity grade than what is recommended for your Corvette, GM’s advise to use products that are dexos1 approved. A product we offer with a higher viscosity grade would be Mobil 1™ 10W-30; this oil tends to meet older GM vehicle specs, but again please refer to your owners’ manual to ensure this is compatible with your vehicle. Mobil 1™ 0W-40 is not recommended because it is primarily used for European high performance vehicles. Please let us know if there are any additional questions or concerns.

Mobil 1 Full Synthetic Advanced Formula 5w30.

Didn't know oil was dripping out the side of my oil filter. I had skipped my routine of checking oil, coolant, etc. a couple of times. When I did check my fluids found the dipstick dry.. I couldnt believe it! Ive been fooling around with cars all of my life and this has never happened before. I know wnough to say if it wasnt fir the lubricating properties of Mobil 1 Advanced Formula, I would probably be searching online for a new motor for my Ram 1500. I will use this oil for the rest of my time here on earth. I dont usually write reviews but had to on this one. Btw: added four quarts of oil then found the leak. No oil warning light, no symptoms of oil being that low. Scared the living daylights out of me! Thanks for making such a fine product Mobil 1. Im your new lifetime customer, for sure.

Depend on Mobil 1 for my Jeep

Have been completely satisfied with my jeep's performance using Mobil 1. It's a dependable product that provides the wear protection for my 1997 jeep. I run 33" tires on a 4 banger engine, it's a lot to push that less than perfect aerodynamic vehicle on the highways. But can depend on getting the best performance from this product.

Glad I switched

Been a fan of a competitor for some time, availability led me to switching to mobile 1. Right away I've noticed smoother operation, which is debatable, but what isn't is the better fuel economy our vehicles have picked up. I'd swear our vehicles have more power and even running the air conditioning we get a 1-2 mpg improvement. So far, I'm very impressed!

BEST Motor Oil I have EVER Used, bar none!

When I was much younger and running hot rods ('66 GTO and a '68 Mustang fastback Bullitt clone) I used GTX 20-50 and it worked ok in those cars at that time. As I have gotten older and, while my taste for fast cars hasn't changed, I now drive something a bit more refined, a V-12 Mercedes SL600 and a smaller V-6 Mercedes SLK320 Sport and I use strictly Mobil 1 5W-30 in both. Both cars run so smooth that at idle , and aside from the blurble of the exhaust system, you cannot tell they are even running. Mobil 1 5W-30 is the factory recommended oil for the SKL320 according to the sticker under the hood. The SL600 didn't have a recommended oil but I use the same 5W-30 in it as well. We also have a Ford Expedition with a 5.4 liter Triton V-8 and I figured that if Mobil 1 is recommended for a Mercedes, it's more than good enough for the Ford, too. I do all the maintenance on all our vehicles, except for any major repairs, and I change the oil and filter every 3,000 miles even though Mercedes recommends oil and filter changes every 10,000 miles. If you have ever owned a Mercedes and had to have major repairs performed at the dealership you know it can b e a rather spendy experience, so I would rather spend a little extra money on oil changes now than on major engine repairs in the future. Mobil, I absolutely love your product!
