Oil

I worked for Pennzoil as a sales rep, for several years in the 70's. Pennsylvania crude is the best lubrication in the world. But since Pennzoil, Quaker State, Kendall and Wolf's Head are no longer blended from PA crude. I changed to the maker of the first synthetic oil, Mobil. Don't mess with the synthetic blends. I change the oil and filter in all of my cars twice a year, November and May. We keep our cars to over 200k miles. I never had a problem with any car's engine. Protect your investment.

I highly recommend Mobil synthetic 5w-30 and 10w-30. I have been using it in all of my cars, since 1977 and all who have worked on my engines comment how clean they have been. All quick to start in Michigan and Maryland cold weather, always better MPG than manufacturer stated, never overheating, and no oil consumption with age. I recommend starting from the beginning with your vehicle. It is an excellent product

I had never used this oil until I purchased a 2003 Honda Acord v6 and I used it every 3 to 4 thousand miles . I sold the car in 2014 with 260 thousand miles and I never had to add oil between changes . The new owner is still driving the car and it's over 320 thousand miles and the engin is sill running great no pings are knocking of any kind and still no oil used between changes . Great oil Moble one .

I have used Mobil 1 for more years than I can remember. The first thing I noticed was that the engine ran a little bit cooler. The second thing I noticed was the gas mileage improved. The third thing I noticed was after 100.000 + miles the oil was as clean as when I bought the cars and the trucks new. In December 2014 I bought a 2014 Chevy Impala LTZ that has a temperature gauge that tells me the actual temperature of the engine.With the factory oil the temperature gauge read between 185 to 190 degrees. With the Mobil 1 the temperature gauge now reads between 180 to 185 degrees . Mobil 1 oil filters are top of the line too. I also use Mobil 1 grease for the front end parts ,the U-Joints and the wheel bearings.

Best oil on the market. I have used Mobil 1 for 28 years now and have never had a problem that was oil related. I have had vehicles from new till well over 200,000 miles with no problems. Right now i have 265,000 miles on 2002 Expedition purchased new. it does not burn any oil or leak any oil between oil changes. 7500 mile between oil change on average.
