prolongs engine life

I change the oil in my 2005 Tundra every 5000 miles or less and have used Mobil One since I bought the truck in late 2004. It now has 251,000 miles on it and runs great and does not burn any oil between oil changes. I just switched to the high mileage oil and am happy with it too.

API Service Change

I have used this oil for years and have been very satisfied. I had been trying to keep to API - SL as that is what the manufacturer sells for my car - model year 2003 BMW. The last 5 qt bottle, purchased in that past 2 months or so, says the oil is now SM/SN [note that the spec on this web site, in several places, still lists this oil as SL]. I believe this means less zinc. This website says that Mobil Oil no longer sells an oil for my car so I am off to look for something else.

Good quality oil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband is a mechanic so he buys a lot of oil. We are already a fan of Mobill1 products. It's good quality oil at a fair price. It helps maintain your engine for a better, longer life cycle. You can't go wrong with oil. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Dependable lubrication

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mobil 1 has a well-earned reputation in the motorsports world. Even though my Subaru isn't going on the track anytime soon, I still give it the best protection I can against wear and tear on the engine. I've always used Mobil 1 synthetic oil and just switched over to the High Mileage version now that I've hit 75,000 miles. I haven't had any issues in the summer or winter with this oil. The car starts right up in the coldest winter nights.

Great Oil

I switched to 5W30 Mobil1 for my last oil change at 107240 miles. Being preoccupied in moving to a different state earlier this year I overlooked the scheduled oil change. Today I was shocked to see my 2000 4 Runner LTD has added 9k miles since the oil change! The 9k doesn't say much for this driver but says a lot for Mobil 1. During this period there was no evidence of oil usage and the oil stayed clean.

Only oil I'll use

My grandpa bought my Yukon brand new and was very particular about having Mobil1 full synthetic oil in it, to the point that he'd drag a case of oil with him on cross country trips just so a lube shop could use his oil. I bought the truck from my parents after my mom inherited it, but I couldn't afford his taste in oil, so I used generic conventional oil. I got tired of the noisy, rough idle and clattery starts, so switched back to Mobil1, and the difference was night and day. I had a new motor it seemed! Power came back, the idle was silky smooth and silent, and I could go twice as long on a change with no issues. Now Mobil1is the only oil I'll use in my vehicles and I attribute this oil with making the original motor act like new with 250,000 miles on the clock. Great stuff!

Great!

We have been using Mobil 1 in all of our vehicles. Our 2013 Equinox with 56K , never a problem. My 2011 Corvette ZO6 Carbon Edition # 199 of 252 has had nothing but Mobil 1 in its dry oil sump system. Last is our 2017 Corvette Grand Sport Collector Edition runs like a champ with Mobil 1,also in its dry oil system. How could you go wrong with Mobil oil, look at the records of the #3 and #4 Corvettes in the IMSA series!!

My name is Allen Parfait. We live in Jackson MS. We race a street stock dirt car every weekend. I built our motor three years ago. I decided to freshen up the engine on a 3 week down time between races. I pulled the The rod bearings and mains bearings down . They still had the grey coating on them after 3 years of abuse The crank only had to polished and the cylinder walls still had the X Crossan from when it was honed . Thank y'all for the cost saving and the reliable oil. Mobile one synthetic is all will ever run Allen Parfait

756,000 miles on mobile 1

I own a 2000 Toyota Tacoma 3.4L V6 4X4 I ordered new and drive 100 miles per day as well as hunting all over the country on the weekends. Not babied, it is in and out of 4 wheel drive about 30 to 40 times thru out the year. I made the switch to synthetic oil at 200,000 miles and made the switch to Mobile 1 shortly after that. I have kept close records and have changed the oil and filter every ten thousand miles where it needed it or not. Starting out with the standard synthetic mobile oil then switched to the extended life mobile one and final settled on the 75,000 mile high milage mobile one when it was introduced. The engine does not use oil between ten thousand mile oil changes but recently has developed a burnt valve and had to be replaced. It was running perfectly to the end but on just five cylinders. The engine had never been worked on other than timing belts and fuel injectors. I attribute this long dependable engine life to the Mobile one product line and wish I contacted you for your inspection of the old engine. I purchased a used 100 thousand mile engine as a replacement and will be using mobile one synthetic oil products to the end of this engines life. Just thought you would be interested and thanks.

Closing in on 200,000 miles

I have had my 1999 Lexus GS300 since I drove it off the lot in 1999. I currently have 196,000 miles on my car. I have my fluids changed regularly, but I change my own oil. Since I can remember, I have been using the High Mileage oil and have had ZERO issues along with Mobil 1 brand oil filters. My car is running like new, even when I put the pedal to the floor. I Change my oil and filter every 5,000-7,500 miles, or every year, whichever comes first. Usually, it is the miles, given that I drive about 10,000 miles a year currently. I will stand by this oil until the day I die, or my car does.
