I have used Mobil 1 for many years in everything from autos to motorcycles, lawn mowers, snow blowers, firearms, etc. It has generally kept my machines running long and strong. It also lasts at least 2x as long as dino oil. Just make sure to use a proper oil filter for long life synthetics.

I purchased a 2000 grand marquis in 2001 with 22,000 miles on it, changed the oil to Mobil 1 5W-30 fully synthetic oil and set it up on routine changes every 7500 miles. Today August 2019 I have 584,632 miles on it and its still running strong, with no major repairs to the engine. Oh yes, I went through many spark plugs, coils, belts, hoses and lots of tires but no repairs to the motor. I give this credit to Mobil 1 oil.

I was a firm believer in this oil and was very proud to tell people I was a user of Mobil 1 full synthetic! That is until I recently got a bad lifter tick and pulled the valley and valve covers off of my 2003 5.3 liter Silverado and seen the god awful gunk build up! It was unreal! Definitely not what I was expecting after spending good money on what I thought was great oil. I would not go over 6,000 miles between oil changes. I have built a fresh 5.3 and I will be using AMSOIL!!!!!

Been using Mobil 1 5W-30 in my 2000 Pontiac Montana, which I bought new, since about 30,000 miles and noticed the brown staining from conventional oil at the filler area. The car now has 340,000 and I still use the regular Mobil 1, not the high mileage, and still do not have to add any oil between changes at about 7,500 miles. I do the changes when the Pontiac oil change reminder comes on. When I change the oil, I look in the filler port and the engine is still clean and no sludge can be seen. Engine has never been apart except for the 3.4l intake manifold gasket failure, common on this engine I am highly satisfied with Mobil 1 and use it on my '84 Buick Riviera Convertable and '09 Chevy Avalanche

Been using Mobil 1 5W30 in my '12 Sentra SE-R Spec V since I bought the car new. Was using the over priced Nismo oil filter for the first couple years then switched to the Mobil 1 oil filter when there was a sale for a pack of 12. The car is sitting at 106000 miles right now and have done the oil change ever 6k, give or take a few hundred miles. Still runs like she did when I first picked her up with 6 miles on the tach. Recently took it to the dyno and is making 176 horsepower at the wheel and 170lb-ft of Torque all stock. Thanks again Mobil for making a terrific product, you will have me as a life long customer for sure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I change oil by myself in most of my cars and over the years I've used multiple brands. So far Mobil 1 brand exceeds all of expectations. You can see a big difference in performance when using Mobil 1 motor oil. The engine definately runs smoother. Oil changes are never a problem with this oil. I definitely recommend Mobil 1 oil. It truly stays on top of all the other oils.

Having just replaced my Mobil with this Mobil, I can say it last the last 5 months with no issue, oil is black but still has the hint of gold your looking for to make sure its not getting to dirty or burned. I have a 2018 Chevy Impala Premier & Chevy Colorado 4x4 4dr both with V-6 engines. I had the dealer drain the original oil and replace it with Mobil 1 5w-30 Oil. Previous vehicles had almost 325,000 miles each and I only used Mobil 1. I am a customer for life.

I have used 5w-30 for our 2017 Chevy Malibu Premier 2.0l Turbo, and 5w-20 for our 2015 Chevy Colorado LT 2.5l engines since new. There have been no issues or oil usage on either engine, and the oil comes out in good shape when the oil meter tells us it's time for an oil change.; The oil changes come at 1 year for the truck and aprx. 10 months for the Malibu Turbo., and I feel these are very safe intervals with the Mobil1 Advanced Full Synthetic Oils. I used to use dinosaur oil and changed at 2000-3000 mile intervals. Back in 2012 I bought a brand new Camaro, v6, and it called for blended oil and it needed to be GM/Dexos approved. The price of blended oil and full synthetic was the same so why not go with full synthetic instead. I traded the Camaro off a few years ago for a '17 Colorado with basically the same engine and it will get Mobile also. I am such a believer in Mobile 1 that I now go by the oil life meter and now run until it tells me to change which is between 4000 to 5000 miles. I will likely be a customer for the rest of my life.
