My 2007 Corvette with 60,000 miles maintains 28 psi at 70 mph 1750 rpm, oil temperature of 220 degrees. This hasn't changed since I've owned it for two years, considering changing to a higher weight or different oil manufacturer. Cold oil pressure can climb to 80 psi, when hot pressure falls off rapidly. Mobile 1 suggested to keep using 5-30, or maybe 0-30, but not 0-40. Why? I feel my oil concerns are due to thermal breakdown. The only way to increase oil pressure when hot is to use a higher weight oil, or a better grade oil that resist the effects of heat. Just my 2 cents worth...

I have a 2012 Silverado 4.8 with a few mods in the engine tune long tube headers and a camaro ss body throttle I was recommended by the guy who tune the truck and this full advance synthetic oil is amazing the engine runs way smoother and I got 117250 miles on it it responds way better now than it use to not only that I change to the mobil 1 oil filter that too is a good product I will highly recommended and there no way I change the brand no more on the truck. Mobil 1 oil and there filters are the best.
