I used to use dinosaur oil and changed at 2000-3000 mile intervals. Back in 2012 I bought a brand new Camaro, v6, and it called for blended oil and it needed to be GM/Dexos approved. The price of blended oil and full synthetic was the same so why not go with full synthetic instead. I traded the Camaro off a few years ago for a '17 Colorado with basically the same engine and it will get Mobile also. I am such a believer in Mobile 1 that I now go by the oil life meter and now run until it tells me to change which is between 4000 to 5000 miles. I will likely be a customer for the rest of my life.

I have a 2001 GMC Yukon XL with 169,000 miles on it. It has been in the family it's entire life and has used only Mobil 1 Full Synthetic. It has never had any engine problems and the engine runs just as good as new. Never will use anything else other than Mobil 1.

I'm a 46 year old man that was turned onto Mobil 1 oil from my grandfather, they used Mobil 1 in all their fleet vehicles! After using Mobil 1, I can honestly say... I have never had Any internal engine failure on any vehicle I have owned! I only & strictly use Mobil 1 & wouldn't change to another product! In my opinion... I use only the best!

I have been using Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil since about 1987 after I installed a remanufactured short block Pontiac 400 engine into my 1976 Pontiac Grand Prix. Prior to that, the old engine -- using conventional oil -- would give that familiar GM "tick" sound of the valve lifters when the engine was started or was running. Mobil 1 was recommended to me by a very good mechanic friend of mine to use on my new, remanufactured engine to get the best performance and life span. After installing the engine and giving it the traditional break-in period, I moved to Mobil 1 and never heard the lifters again. I also noticed that the oil traveled to the top of the engine after start up faster than conventional oil, especially during cold weather starts (i.e.: the lifters sound disappeared quicker or was not heard at all). Furthermore, during extremely cold days, it seemed the engine turned over faster than before when using conventional oil. I attributed it to the superior flow characteristics of synthetic oil at colder temperatures. After these favorable experiences, I was completely sold on Mobil 1 and have been using it ever since for all my automotive and gasoline engine lubrication needs. I also use Mobil 1 for my gear oil lubrication in the differentials of my vehicles. I have even began to use it my riding lawn mower with a B&S 17HP engine. Per the B&S engine manual, synthetic oil can be used in place of conventional 30w oil. I moved to using Mobil 1 and can definitely tell a difference in the way the lawn mower engine runs and responds. If you have not begun to use Mobile 1, I would highly encourage that you do. With the ongoing high prices for automobiles and power equipment, Mobil 1 is one way you can protect your investment and get the maximum life span.

First car I used Mobil 1 in was a new 1978 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. I faithfully changed the oil once a year, every year. When I sold the car 12 years later, the engine ran so smooth you couldn't tell that it was running when at idle. Never burned a drop of oil in 12 years. I have used it in every car/truck I have owned since. Currently using it in a 1999 VW Passat and a 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 - since both were new. If you value your engine, run it on Mobil 1.

Year after year and well into six-figure miles, Mobil 1 motor oil keeps the inside of my engines completely clean. My wife and I just purchased our own house. So with home ownership we have been thinking about how we can save money one of the ways is to start doing our own oil changes. But after going over the mileage and needing a oil change we stopped in at our local Mobil 1 and was greeted by the manager John who not only had his team give us a much needed change but did it with a level of customer service we thought didn't exist anymore . I am more than capable of doing my own oil change now that I have the space but after going to this clean well maintained well managed location I will defiantly be doing my oil changes there. customer service goes a long way in my book. thank you John and your team.

i have used mobil 1 pure synthetic for almost 2 years now in my 2011 chevy hhr and have had no problems ,it has now 74,500 miles on it and doesnt use any oil i dont have to add any between oil changes . i would like to start using the high mileage but it is not dextos approved and after talking with a mobil rep i am going to the extended performance pure synthetic .

The oil pump went out in my 06 C6 corvette. I always use 5w30 Mobil 1 extended. Long story short, there weren't any shavings or glitter in my oil pan. I just got the car running again and it runs great. No bearing damage no crazy sounds. Thanks for oil that may have prevented a $7500 rebuild.
