Start by taking the gasket and placing it in the recessed channel on the underside of the lid, so that the gasket rests next to the four raised rubber lips. 3. Take your thumbs and press down firmly on the gasket in all four corners, working your way all the way around the gasket until it is securely seated in the lid.
