I prefer glass over other containers for storage, and serving food. these Rubbermaid bowls are excellent for microwaves, and serving food to friends and family. They look classy and if there is any food left over you just pop on the lid and put it away. Highly recommended by me.

I purchased these about two months ago and I am disappointed in the quality of these. They stain rather easy and most now have some funk in the bottom that won’t come off, I thought it was soap scum but any amount of scrubbing won’t get rid of it, I even took a scraper to it and it still won’t come off. My wife takes these to work to reheat things for lunch and after seeing how these only held up for two months they have been a complete waste of money. Will have to look for another brand that will hold up to basic being able to be used in a microwave.

I purchased my original Rubbermaid storage set a couple of years ago at Sams. I'd always used Tupperware products and thought there was no equal. Was I ever wrong!! First of all, the containers nest nicely. Secondly the snap-together lids are wonderful....no more searching for the correct lid. They're all right there in a nice, neat group. Thirdly, the lids wash wonderfully in the top rack of the dishwasher. No more warped, ill-fitting lids. No more handwashing lids to keep them from warping. When I found this set on sale I purchased two more sets for me and two sets for my daughter-in-law. Buy with confidence.....they're that good!

It's a very attractive product and I like storing and reheating in glass instead of plastic. Worked well until I removed gasket for cleaning. Have never been able to reinstall the gasket, despite following recommended instructions. If I still had the receipt it would have gone back to the store.

I've always been happy with all of the Rubbermaid products I've ever purchased, but these containers by far are the best! I was tired of my plastic containers always getting stained with chile or marinara sauces whenever I warmed them in the microwave. With these, the glass NEVER stains and is easier to wash as well. Highly recommend these!

Since the day I bought the glass container and removed the gasket for cleaning as specified right on the gasket, I have not been able to get it back on. It's been very frustrating. I've used it without the gasket but I'm not sure if I'm getting a proper seal on it now. Rubbermaid people should post a video as to how to get those things back on.

I just filled my containers with soup and was heading down to the basement to put them in the freezer. I took too many at one time and dropped two of them, they went tumbling down the stairs and I cringed thinking I now have soup and broken glass to clean up. Whew! The lid stayed on and they didn't break!

I love these bowls! I love how the lids stack together and then the bowls stack on top of the lids. They don't take up as much space as other glass containers. They are very durable and dishwaher safe. They are easy to get out of the cabinet and the red color is a plus for me too! These are a must have!

I'm so glad that I bought the 8pc set.No staining.No warpage.No dropping on the floor(ha ha).Even if you dropped one on a kitchen floor,it probably won't break.As tough as it looks.Great size selection too.USA made.Bought the produce saver set also.The best for most any need.

I just bought these to replace some old plastic containers and chipped glass no-name brand. I always considered Rubbermaid quality. I put food in and the lids won't stay shut. They popup and don't seal. I will try pulling out all the gaskets and trying again but if not I will have to return. :-( Any other ideas on how to fix??
