Along with other HVR products I alwways keep a few packets of this in the pantry. whether a planned event this is easy to do and satisfying. I can whipped this up quickly and serve with pretzels and chips or veggies. and with the ease and low cost I can make 2 bowls or for that matter hollowed out breads (for eye appeal)

You can make a good ranch dip to dip your vegetables or any kind of meat in. You can also make Turkey wraps which are excellent. There is just such a variety of ways to make the Hidden Valley Ranch Dip make food taste so much better.That is why I would recommend this product to everyone I know.

Sometimes you can't skimp and have to buy the name brand. That's the case with Hidden Valley Ranch mix. Nothing else tastes the same. I love this stuff, and Sam's is the cheapest place to buy it. This is the only way for authentic ranch. Well, if you want the very best, old school Original ranch is probably best, the pouch made with real buttermilk, but this is pretty darn good. It's way better than knock-offs or even the pre-made bottled Hidden Valley. It's inexpensive too, it comes out to 60¢ per 16 oz batch (for the seasoning mix). You do, of course, have to add your own milk and mayo, but even then it's cheaper than buying the less tasty pre-made. The key to great Hidden Valley Ranch is to only use real mayo (I like Duke's) and whole milk, even if you would like this as a dip. The sour cream dip recipe is good, but I just think the overall ranch flavor is better with mayo. Also, you must, must, let it rest overnight in the fridge to fully thicken. Do this, and it will be plenty thick enough, and you'll never buy another ranch dressing mix.

Ever since I brought home the canister size of the Hidden Valley dry seasoning, I find myself using it in so much of my cooking. Just throwing a little on whatever I'm making adds so much flavor! My favorite so far was when I added to my standard pan roaster Brussels Sprouts side dish. I can't believe how amazing they tasted when I replaced my normal salt with a dash of Hidden Valley.

I love the Hidden Valley Ranch shaker. I've used it on quite a few foods. It pairs really well with chicken. I baked a chicken breast one night and this added extra flavor to it. I've also used it on pasta salad. This is something I definitely plan to keep on hand. If you want to add extra flavor to just st about anything definitely use the Hdden Valley ranch shaker.

I cannot express how awesome this product is! No more buying multiple packets of ranch and having to tear them open to sprinkle a little here and there every time I wanted to add this taste to a veggie laden sandwich or on steamed veggies! It's the best new product HVR has out to me!

I can't give this a good rating until I know this information. The nutritional info says unprepared serving size per packet is 1/2 tsp. Each unprepared serving has 1 carbohydrate and there are 16 servings total. Does that mean there are 16 carbohydrates in one packet? If I use this as seasoning in my meatloaf, without adding anything to the ranch packet, the meatloaf will have at least 16 carbohydrates right? That's insane. What the heck is in this that gives it 16 carbs? When I make it to dip veggies in I use heavy cream instead of milk so we always counted this as a zero carb snack. Was I wrong?

This Ranch Shaker sure comes in handy when cooking! From chicken to potatoes and even popcorn!! It is really easy to use and a little goes a long way! It also has really easy control when sprinkling on your favorite foods, and its great because kids can always help out in the kitchen. Kids helping out in the kitchen makes them feel more apart of that meal, thats why hidden valley ranch shaker is perfect!

Over the years, this Ranch dip has been on the menu for just about every party. From classroom events to holidays to casual gatherings. It nestles perfectly between potato chips and baby carrots. Great in soups, too! My nieces from Canada can't be pried away from the bowl. They can't get it there! I just found out today about Ranch flavored Doritos labeled abroad as "Cool American." Fun!!

To date, my family and I gave tried it on salads, chips, eggs, popcorn, and a variety of meats and we like it more with each use. If you are a fan of ranch seasoning, this shaker is an easy and convenient way to add just the right amount, that you like, to any food. I just wish they made a bigger shaker because my family does thru the 8oz size way too fast.lol...
