I personally have added it to make a healthier version of the ranch dip and my husband has used it in recipes. If your recipe calls for salt use less than recommended because this season tends to be on the salty side. The seasoning itself contains salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and buttermilk powder which gives it that tang.

I love how you can use as much or as little as you'd like depending on what flavor profile you're looking for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's easy to see why Hidden Valley Ranch is America's #1 Ranch Seasoning! It's SO versatile! It tastes GREAT on potatoes, pork chops, dips, chicken, etc. The shaker is SO easy to use! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to showcase your products!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tasty is all I can say! Hidden Valley Ranch dip mix is a wonderful addition to any snack, party or everyday setting. This dip mix blends together well with one pint of sour cream. You get to enjoy that wonderful ranch flavor but this time you can use it to dip your chips or veggies. One thing that I don't like about this dip is that it has a lot of sodium in it. You can taste the sodium as you're eating it. So you may want to take that into account otherwise it's a wonderful addition to a party table. When mixing it, the consistency was very smooth. No lumps.

I love how easy it is to use for as little or as much as you want. My family loves using this shaker on top of popcorn, chicken salad, cottage cheese, grilled chicken and shrimp! Honestly the options are endless. I prefer the shaker because I don't have to worry about wasting any or trying to find a way to store it. Just close the lid and go!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely surprising how easy and zesty this dip is. I prepared it for a Labor Day party in under a minute. Using half the pack and 8oz of sour cream this dip was perfect for veggies and pretzels. Light, cool, and creamy, it was better than I ever remembered it. I did have to go through with the spatula for a second pass to mix all the powder at the bottom of the bowl. But the pack is easy to store and this dip would also be great mixed with a low fat yogurt. Highly recommend for festive gatherings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how easy this ranch Dip Mix is to prepare and store. The packaging is simple and convenient and the mix has a fresh appearance. The quantity is great for making a tasty dip, and I think it offers good value for the price. The flavor tastes fresh and delicious, making it a product I would use again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is so much better than any premade dip. I love that you can use the entire packet or just enough for a serving and you can customize the flavor. Not using it he entire packet? Store left overs in a spice jar and use it for later. It is extremely convenient and versatile. You don't have to use it just for dip.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I added this to a few of my dinners pre made or cooked by myself. I thought I may have added too much the first time, but it was a good amount. I really like it. It isn't too overwhelming, but it does add good flavor.
