These are so good! I can't for the life of me understand why my Sam's won't carry them. My waistline thanks them, but the rest of me curses Sam's for their ignorance in not selling them.

I love Hot Tamales. But I have always bought them in the box.  I don't know if it's the air-tight package, or what, but these things will destroy your taste buds!  I ate a handful of these, and my tongue started to burn like nothing I've ever experienced.  I think the cinnamon oil in these might be the culprit....maybe more in these than in the boxed ones??  Regardless, after a few days, my taste buds returned to normal.  I tried eating 3 or 4 of these, and the instant burn came right back.
Sadly, I am giving these up permanently.  The pain is not worth the taste of these.  I may try the boxed ones at some point in the future, but am a little gun shy right now.

If you like HOT, you will love these...but BEWARE!

I honestly kind of forgot about hot tamales until I saw this package. I got them and they were just as good as I remember them from 20 years ago.
