The best pancake mix

I absolutely love that Sam's has the BIG box of this in store. You get 3 of the normal sized bags in here for around $12/$13. One box at the regular grocery store is $8. I loooveee making the cookies recipe, waffles, and muffins recipes that Kodiak has. The taste is so much better quality than the average pancake mix brand and much better ingredients for you. Protein is the plus! Highly recommend to everyone to try.

    Doesn't hold together at all, lack of taste.

    I have made these every way I can and they always separate, fall apart, or don't cook right. I've done pancakes and waffles according to their directions and they never turn out. I found there is no real taste either. I'm not dumb, I spray my waffle iron and have never had any mix do this EVERY time. Between the lack of flavor and the fact the mix never stays together, I will never buy another kodiak product.

    Not very tasty out of the box

    Just very blah tasting out of the box. I had to add vanilla extract and blueberries to choke these down. I guess this stuff is just a base for making pancakes because by itself there is not much flavor. Unfortunately I have a year supply of this crap now. I might try it as breading on some airfried chicken.

    Not as good as reviews claimed

    Thicker and turned out doughy as pancakes. I like the protein in them but it is a compromise on taste for sure-they taste grainy which my husband and kids do not like. I can get over the taste but even I put vanilla in them to try to better the taste. We are spoiled by the SAMs brand pancake mix which is very tasty and it has a sweet vanilla flavor. Just was trying to get something “healthier” but no one except for me would eat these :(

    Protein and flavor

    Best pancake mix brand. Unfortunately, Kodiak discontinued my favorite flavor, whole wheat oats and honey, but buttermilk is a good substitute.
