Same great performance as always! Our prior Vitamix lasted almost 10 years; in the long run saving us money not having to replace a broken blender within a year. Hoping this one will last just as well but so far, so good - it kicks butt like they always do! (lol)

Fantastic Blender that solves a lot of problems Easy to use, it will safely work on it's own while you're cleaning dishes ( my old blender i would have to hold in place) The blender is STRONG and feels efficient!. It boasts being self cleaning but in reality it means you need to put water and soap in it and hit blend lol. My only complaint is the height. While it does fit under my kitchen cabinets the lid needs to be firmly in place or it will bump the cabinet door - The machine looks beautiful and will give you the confidence to blend without pushing its limits! I would def but Vitamix again!

I was on the fence about getting a high powered blender for years, but my goodness have I enjoyed this one. I had an unreasonable number of smoothies lately and I love that I can make a hot soup in about 10 minutes. This model is quite though so if you care about that you might look into one that is supposed to be quieter.

We picked up a Vitamix 5300 after a Ninja blender began to show its age. After all the impressive reviews, we were disappointed to learn it was all power and no refinement, not to mention being noisier than most shop tools! Plus, you can't pour the blended product without removing the top (unlike my old Ninja). And cleaning was not fun due to the integrated blade. Finally, the 5300 went back, and I picked up a new Ninja to replace it.

Me encanto, realmente puedo decir que es la primer licuadora capaz de moler condimentos pequeños, chiles secos y no dejar ojuelas oh pedazos sin triturar, las personas q aman la comida mexicana y los guisados con chile huejillo deben tener una licuadora como está en su cocina. Aparte de que los licuados verdes quedan realmente licuado. Me encanto mi mejor inversión en la cocina.

This is my 3rd Vitamix, over a life time and I'm a senior now. I've loved everyone. This one is wonderful in that it has a shorter design, and I love the way it switches on, using a blue indicator light as not to forget to turn it off. I love the pulse option, which can allow you to use the blender as a food processor for some items, in some situations. It's perfect, powerful and yet not too loud, and I'm very happy with it!

I like the low profile container. I find it superior to my old Vitamix tall container. I like that I can put the container on top and the motor unit and they neatly fit under the top kitchen cabinets. Plus in use it blends frozen items much better than the older tall container requiring much less tamping if any at all. It's also easier to clean than the tall one. The last unit lasted 8 years of near daily use. In addition the new base is red giving a nice pop of color to the kitchen. Mixed feelings on the power switch. It prevents parasitic power draw with is good however after throwing the switch it takes a few seconds before you can use the blender. Nowhere near a deal breaker, I don't think it even amounts to an annoyance, just different.

I previously had the 5200 series for almost 10 years and loved it. I ordered this thinking it would be most similar. I did not think the low profile container poured as well as the standard 64 oz taller container. I also liked the 5200 series better and think it performed better. I love Vitamix but was a little disappointed in this newer version.

I was so so excited to buy this product. But unfortunately when I got n started using it suddenly stopped working . I was so worried and waiting almost 1 hrs and retried it stated working .. I'm not seeing big difference when compared to my Indian mixer which I been using from past 5 years.And also when compared with my Indian mixer price also ver y high. I really don't how everyone is so happy and shared such good review. my friends also bought ninja blender and the blender works so well .. im thinking to buy ninja rather than buying Vitamix.I have return the Vitamix which I order writhing 2 days .

It's a good blender. I must say I have used vitamixers that are a bit older but they were also cheaper and this 5300 is super loud a d has lots of vibrations. It vibrates so much so that it moves on the counter. There is know way I could blend a 10 minute soup unless I keep my hand on it. It does blend well though, very powerful. Docked 2 stars for sound and vibrations. Just seems like a quality of manufacturing deal. Built cheaper means more profit for vitamix. Personally i would have paid a little more for a more solid machine.
