If I add this to my soup, it turns it into a creamed soup. Stir in before heating and mix completely before heating. If your soup is already cooked than add the powder to cold water in a cup. Just enough to get it to dissolve completely. Pour that mixure into your cooked soup. Heat the soup more until it is the thickness that you like. I make a homemade soup by adding a little boulion, fresh vegtables, Morrison's country gravy mix. For a spicier soup, I add Weber brand "Kick'n chicken".

I bought this because I have used a different brand and have enjoyed it. I was hoping it would be as good as the one I have gotten in the past and would save some money. I think it is good but not quite as good as the other brand. The first time I fixed it according to the instructions and I was disappointed because it just didn’t have the flavor of the other brand. The last time I fixed it I used more of the mix and less water which made it thicker and it tasted better. But still not as good as my favorite brand. I will say that it is definitely not too salty for me which is a big plus. So if you don’t need your gravy so flavorful then this might work for you.

Best white gravy with no grease to eat

I was hesitant on buying this. I like to make my own. I heard a lot of friends telling me how great it is....so, I thought why not? Was I surprised, it is soooo good. Try it. I fry up half pack of Jimmy Dean sausage, and add to it. Put this on top of biscuits, heaven!! Or, just plain, so many ways to eat this. Even as a thickener for soup.
