Been using this stuff for over 25 yrs. It's great straight or throw in some fried sausage. My aunt uses it as the base of all her cream soups. I do wish they would put the recipe for smaller batches on the bag - my only complaint. I like it over toast but I've been known to just eat it with a spoon.

Best way to make country sausage gravy as well as creamed beef (with additional help form a good portion of Onion Dip). Also makes for great beef and chicken gravies. I use this stuff a lot and it's not that expensive. Stores well in a Ziplock bag at kitchen temperature as well (I never refrigerate the stuff). :)

Everyone seems to be confused as to how much they're going to get. It's a 1 and 1/2 lb bag. That is alot for the price. I havent tried it yet but from others I take it, it tastes great. Want more flavor add boulion powder,I use chicken, its great for dipping chicken nuggets etc. Refer to pic for Amt

Bought this on a whim because my family loves my homemade sausage gravy, but it takes a bit to make so I thought I would try this based on the reviews. I am so glad I did! My own husband said, 'sorry hon, I think this is even better than yours'... Well, it's as good as! And much easier to make! Don't hesitate on this one ~ it's a winner!

We have been buying this Morrison's Country Gravy mix for years. First found it at Walmart in the 1.5lb bag then found it at our local Sams club in this 3pk. I just found it on Sam's. Com website. It lasts a long time. I make sausage gravy for breakfast. Also made the Potato Soup recipe that is on the package.

We love gravy and this peppered gravy is the perfect and easiest way to make just add water. It’s not greasy at all. Breakfast o yes with biscuits and gravy even with sausage. Lunch creamy potatoes and gravy or rice and gravy. I always make homemade gravy sometimes it was good and sometimes it’s not. You want have a problem with Sam’s peppered gravy you get three packs in the box.

This is the best mix we have tried yet..use water[not milk] and 1/2 teaspoon butter, add some fresh ground pepper, a little bit of salt. It is great by itself or add some chopped up cooked breakfast sausage and serve it on a biscuit. also it keeps in the fridge for a couple of days no problem.

Country gravy is a must for my house. Dont worry this is not one of those over salted mixes. I have a huge jar I keep this in with a scoop and I tapped a snippet of the stovetop prep label to the jar in case a quick reference is needed. There is also microwave and even hot water instructions on the package so this mix is really versatile!

I didn't even think they made this stuff anymore. I love this gravy mix. I looked for it a bunch of times but couldn't remember the name. Haven't bought the big bag like this in over a decade. So glad they still have it. If you wanted to know, yes. It's darn good and at a darned good price. Buy it.

I come from a long line of southern cooks who have made breakfast gravy forever, so of course I have always made breakfast gravy from scratch for 50 years. When I read the reviews on this gravy, I thought I would give it a try. It was delicious and fast and simple, I couldn’t believe you could get that great flavor without bacon or sausage grease, but, you do! The gravy has to be more healthy when all you do is add water. Sam’s do not stop carrying this product brand, I will be spreading the word to family and friends!!
