This formula worked best for us transitioning our 6 month old from dairy-free breastmilk. It truly is a gentle formula and never any constipation issues. I will forever recommend Similac. We used Similac for my 4 year old when he was an infant as well. I received advice that the store brand formulas are "just the same" but I wasted my money trying that -- upset their bellies almost instantly.

My son used the Similac from the hospital (I believe it was the 360 Total Care) and after a few weeks we realized he was really struggling digestively with it- lots of grunting and gas. So we switched to Pro Total Comfort and he's been a happy boy ever since!

This formula has alot of good ingredients and vitamins. It just didn't work for us and our baby. The formula creates alot of bubbles when freshly made. You either wait for the bottle to settle, make them earlier and warm them up, or just feed it and deal with the gas. My baby is super impatience and gets very worked up and upset when hungry. Waiting 5-10 minutes (warmer or for the bottle to settle) just didn't work for us. Which left us dealing with painful gas, as you imagine that got old fast. It just didn't work for our baby.
