Our baby was started on the similac pro advance in the hospital when we had her in September. A few weeks ago she was having screaming fits so her pediatrician advised us to try the similac pro total comfort. The first day my baby used it was great we immediately didn't have any screaming episodes. However after another day she started having dark green diarrhea and I mean it was to the point of leaking out of her diaper it was like water. It also smelled horrible. At first I thought it was just her body adjusting to the new formula so I gave it two weeks and my baby went from having 1 dirty diaper a day to 5 or 6 constantly runny. It was so bad she broke out in a rash. So we have now taken her off of it. I know all babies are different but I now see other people having the same problem. Since taking her off of the formula her first dirty diaper was back to normal and shes now not going 6 times a day. She's also eating more and is so much happier.

After a smooth month on the Similac Pro Advance, my baby started fussing on the bottle and limiting how much she ate. I switched to Pro Sensitive and saw the same thing, and then switched to Pro Total Comfort after doing some research. She's much happier, less gassy, and drinking calmly. I'm so happy I found this - though I did discard about a full container between the pro advance and sensitive during transitions.

I had my baby on the silver pro immune formula when she was first born but after a month and switched her to the original total comfort formula and I was so glad I did! My babe is now 4 months old and since switching to the total comfort we never used gas relief drops, she slept easier and pooped on average 3 times a day... she was a very happy and healthy baby on the original! Now that I can no longer buy the original I of course am now using the PRO total comfort and we are back to where we were when she was a newborn. She is overall uncomfortable on this new formula and as a first time mommy this has caused me unnecessary stress...she seems to have a hard time developing poop again and is very restless...we loved the original total comfort and am now considering switching from similac altogether if I cannot find something to ease my baby's discomfort and fussiness without having to add gas relief drops to every bottle. While I do feel like overall this could still be a good product, it's just not for us. This new switch stinks.

Glad I came here for to read the reviews. My baby was using Pro Sensitve. She was spitting up a little and doctor switched to this. She throws up horrible after every feeding no matter what. Then her poop is green which it was never before. She used to poop every day twice (she is breastfed as well). With this formula she goes a whole day without pooping and farts a lot. When she did poop it seemed like it hurt her. I wish I read the comments before I put her on it.

Horrible gas and increased colic from this formula! We switched for the original total comfort so we could buy the bigger tub and such a disappointment! We've lost so much sleep because of this formulas gas! Not okay! Bring back the original formula! We will be raiding every store to buy all the old cans we can!

At first we supplemented with pro advance but my son would projectile vomit after every bottle. The pediatrician gave us samples of this formula and my son stopped vomiting that day! It's so gentle on his belly. When you make the bottle, you can see it start dissolving as soon as it hits the water. I'm so glad that we found what works for him. It smells better and feels better than other ones we've tried.

We changed to total comfort and went from literally never sleeping to sleeping 6 hour stretches at night and taking naps during the day! This formula changed all of our lives for the better and we have a much happier baby! He never had gas issues but we could tell he was uncomfortable so we made the switch and after the first day we saw a huge improvement!

I was feeding similac pro advance and noticed my baby was gassy and extra fussy so I switched to total comfort. He's been on it for about 3 weeks. At first his gas improved but he always acted like he was starving an hour or two later. Now that he's 7 weeks old he's eating 5 oz and he's back to being really gassy and not sleeping well because of it. It also makes him have liquid stool that is really smelly.

We tried the original old formula and loved it. With new formula baby has to be changed (while wearing a bib) and I need a new shirt. The spit up is awful! Also she is so gassy! With old formula we stopped using gas drops. Now if I miss even one bottle of adding the drops, we have hours of fussing and gas. Granted she is pooping great. Please fix the formula!

After trying several different Similac formulas we tried this one after all the others failed to agree with her tummy. Total game changer. She cries a lot less, doesn't have as much gas pains, never spits up, and regular bowel movements. Her toots and poop does smell worse with this formula, but it's worth it and doesn't bother her at all. I would recommend this to anyone that has a baby with a sensitive tummy. My husband and I are very happy that it is non-GMO and is now available in pro. Thank you Similac for making such a great formula.
