My nutritionist recommended Ensure Enlive due to my age, active life style, and dietary/caloric needs. It tastes great! It's smooth and creamy. It's a great way for me to get the nutrition I need, while almost feeling like I'm spoiling myself with a rich chocolate treat! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our daughter had spinal surgery and things did not go so well as she continued to have numerous pneumonias and more hospitalizations. During that eight months in and out of the hospital she lost a lot of weight and most of her muscle tone. She also had difficulty eating enough to gain any strength. The hospital recommended enliven to help build up her muscles. While we still have a long haul to go we are confident that the enliven is helping her gain strength. Especially on the days when she can't eat much! On another note at the same time my husband was diagnosed with a rare cancer and has been using the Ensure products to gain his strength back after his surgeries and radiation. He definitely feels it's helping him. I guess we should buy stock in the company since we are believers in the products!

With a meal it helped to transition her back home with a better appetite. She has gained weight due to the extra calories in Enlive.
