This is a great product for a few reasons. 1. It tastes very good. No after taste or funky smell, just a great chocolate taste. 2. It works! I have problems with migraines and it was suggested to me to start including this in my daily diet to help keep my sugar levels from spiking or dipping. Not only does it help with my sugar levels, but also with my migraines and I have more energy. 3. The price is reasonable for the return on the benefits I receive and the taste.

As soon as I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes I looked for foods I could eat that I would like. This takes the cake for me...Hunger Smart in chocolate is like a milkshake twice a day and I love the taste. I found no bitter after taste. I actually look forward to my breakfast every morning with a shake. And eating chocolate actually gives me the feeling of eating something "bad" and it isn't!!! Order this all the time through Walmart by the cases! Even the price is the best of any store!

I've been using Glucerna Hunger smart, chocolate, 11 oz for about a year now. Loved the thickness of it and the rich, creamy chocolate flavor. Have one before bed and I don't wake up hungry in middle of the night. My sugar would test fine in the morning. BUT...couldn't find it in grocery store and Walmart for about a month. Then when it came back (Hunger Smart) the 11 oz had changed to 8 oz, and it TASTES different!! It is no longer rich and creamy!! It is thin and I think a bit sweeter than it needs to be. Were we not supposed to notice? I will be checking out the Atkins shakes and the Boost. There may be other diabetic shakes I would never have tried but now I will. This 8 oz thin shake does not satisfy.
