My son cannot tolerate carrageenan (or any other thickener/emulsifier) and he is underweight. We are so glad to have found this powdered version. I wish more stores would carry it. The liquid PediaSure was a no go for us. He would get terrible diarrhea with the liquid and we had to stop. This powder version does not contain any Carrageenan, PS-80 or those nasty Gums. He has been drinking it for a month now without any issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product has great benefits. I tried making some for my son to drink. It’s easy to make. Just measure out powder, add water, and mix. I gave him the strawberry flavor. He took two sips and then refused to drink anymore. Perhaps a different flavor might have worked better.

My son is small. We've been giving him Pediasure for nearly two years now. He's managed to gain four whole pounds in that time. He's four. You recently changed the formula, and he no longer likes it as much, so he went from one or two a day to one or two a week. I guess we'll be looking for something else that is calorie-dense that he likes better. Also, disappointed with the new bottle packaging design since it has more plastic and is more wasteful. You might want to look into larger bottles instead of only offering single serving bottles; unless, of course, you're looking to keep them as expensive as possible. And yes, they are quite expensive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves the taste of pediasure and I can see it is helping her grow. It is easy to make it but have to mix and shake really well before giving to the kid. I keep switching flavors for my daughter but she loves vanilla the most.

My son has always been tiny and hovered around the 8th-10th percentile on weight charts. After his pediatrician recommended Pediasure I bought the ready-made and he literally threw the cup across the room (think it had to much of a protein drink flavor). Thank goodness for the powder though. We bought a can of the powder to mix in his regular cup of milk. A scoop of the vanilla (as well as a scoop of a chocolate breakfast shake powder for flavor) in a cup of whole milk twice a day is the ONLY thing that has kept my almost 4yo at 30lbs and up to the 12th percentile. He asks for his cup because he loves it so much. My only recommendations is 1) Make a Chocolate flavor as well ( I hate the sugar in the other powder I have to use in conjunction.) and 2) Please don't stop producing the powder. It is on the expensive side but more cost efficient than ready-made and my son loves it. Thank you Pediasure!

It’s really a great way to supplement with protein and vitamins when they aren’t getting enough of them through nutrition. My daughter also has some allergies that hinder her from reaching her nutrition goals, and having her drink these shakes have been a fun way to mix things up. I told her it was a vanilla milkshake and we even added some sprinkles to make her feel like it was a treat. The vanilla flavor is good, and she would also love to try other flavors as well. She loves it and I feel better knowing that she is getting the extra protein and vitamins that her body needs. It’s also easy to travel with on the go, and I would definitely recommend to boost your little ones nutrition if they need it.

It’s a great supplement drink when they aren’t feeling well and don’t want to eat, or if they are just being stubborn and being picky at dinner time. My son loves when I pull out the pedi-sure and it has helped him get the nutrients he needs especially if he is refusing to eat.

My daughter is on the tiny side in both height and weight. Even though she eats well, she plays well too. She burns as many calories as she takes in. I introduced these to her diet and I can tell a difference already and it's been 2 weeks. I will definitely continue to use these to help her grow.
