At our boy's 6yo check up his pediatrician said his weight was in the 6 percentile. He needed to gain weight. Being autistic and having a 'set' list of foods he ate we were very puzzled on how to introduce 'weight gaining' foods to his diet. Kai loves McDonald's strawberry/banana shakes so when we saw these shakes we thought we would give it a try...his first reaction was negative to the taste...BUT, he loves them now! he has gained 2 lbs in a week!

PediaSure has been great for those times when my kid doesn't want to eat. It helps me not be so worried that he didn't eat well today or just pushed his food around his plate. Plus it is great to know that I can have some thing he won't fuss about in our emergency supply pack.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves the taste of pediasure and I can see it is helping her grow. It is easy to make it but have to mix and shake really well before giving to the kid. I keep switching flavors for my daughter but she loves vanilla the most.

Pediasure was suggested to me by my pediatrician because my daughter was picky eater and was under weight for her age.She was in 5 % which was terrible.But after 6 months of usage she gained 4 lbs and grew taller.Doctor was also happy with results . I continued until she was 3.Good product for weight gain. I gave 8 ounces a day.One bottle a day is ideal because it has lot of calories and nutrients that will help in child growth.So the child can eat other foods too.Nice product would recommend to picky eating kids who need to gain weight .

I've tried the bottle, sippy cup and all. He hates the flavor and I buy in bulk. So now I spoon feed it and he drinks some but loses interest fast. He is bottom 3rd percentile in height and weight. I'm not sure how else to make him drink this. Any ideas? I recommend the product but, proceed cautiously bc your child may hate the taste.

Having 2 special needs wth weight issues is a daily battle but having pediasure to help maintain weight gives us the upper hand. Pediasure along wth special diet keeps them at a steady weight. At one point we had to go wthout it for few months- you could def tell the difference. Their doctor considers it their main source of nutrition so you know it has to be good stuff :)

I had gotten the chocolate and it was ok. It smelled like chocolate, but tasted a bit chalky. It also needs to be mixed really well or it will be grainy.
