On the one hand, you definability get a stronger clean but I found some of them awkward to handle, with low-quality batteries, a poor recharge, and either too strong or too weak brushing. This was not the case with the Oral-B Pro 6000 SmartSeries. I love this brush and have been using it regularly. One of the best features about is the availability multiple brushing intensities. I now switch between gentle and whitening and really love the results. I honestly feel like my teeth are whiter and cleaner. The bonus feature I did not expect to like as much as I do is the lights that tell you if you are pressing too hard! My dentist has always told me that I go too hard but I never feel like I am doing it right but this thing does the thinking for me! I love it. The charge is also really impressive and the stand it comes with is really handy for sorting out the different brushing heads. Frankly, the Bluetooth element is a bit of a strange gimmick that is not for me. Seriously you will not go wrong with this toothbrush. Plus the carry case is awesome. The Oral-B Pro 6000 SmartSeries is a keeper!

I also charged it one night and it lasted a week before I needed to recharge it so going on vacation with it or to the mountains where power may be hard to find is not a problem. 4 stars is for one thing Oral B can easily fix, this is that the brush holder should be completely in closed so that particles from the restroom can't settle on your brush head. However this brush for cleaning is a Champ.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's very nicely designed. Very powerful. Overall very attractive to the eye. My gums did bleed at first, but after a week I didn't see much blood. I expected that since I've been previously using a manual toothbrush. My teeth are extremely clean and already a few shades whiter. I'm extremely happy and would recommend this toothbrush to anyone.

It knows if I am brushing too hard and if I am doing it correctly. I didn't even realize how much stuff was even on my teeth until I used this toothbrush. Oral-B did a amazing job creating this toothbrush. Not only is it extremely functional, it's also a very sleek design. I would recommend this toothbrush to everyone, if you don't have this toothbrush then I know you aren't brushing your teeth correctly. There's no way I am ever going back to a manual toothbrush. When I saw Bluetooth in the title I thought what could this possibly do to help you brush your teeth. Well let me tell you, once you download the app and sync this brush its mind blowing the experience you get brushing your teeth!!! I've only used a electronic tooth brush maybe once or twice, but this brush deff gets the job down. I love the 5 different functions it features and how the app guides you to brush your teeth. Its also pretty cool you can change the light colors. Hands down I total recommend this brush to anyone considering trying it. Deff worth the money, my mouth feels amazing and my teeth look and feel so clean from just one brushing. Two thumbs way up from me

I have always hated it (which could explain the root canal a couple years ago and the current need for a crown). Brushing was always a pain. I would get it over with as soon as possible, and then feel guilty for neglecting to floss. This toothbrush… it is a spa experience for your teeth and gums. It is 2 minutes of serenity. It is a massage. It is therapeutic. It has totally changed my feelings toward oral hygiene. This toothbrush has made me more proud of myself - I brush more often because it is now easier (less elbow grease from me while getting a better clean) and much more fun (I customized my brush to light up in a fuchsia color). The bells and whistles are so interesting that I am actually drawn to brush my teeth. Sometimes technology does that – it helps us be responsible and do the things we know we need to do that we never feel like doing. But sometimes technology can over-complicate our lives. Nice thing is, we can choose the level at which we participate in technology. I tried running the Oral-B app once so far, and I only used the timer on it to make sure I brushed for the full recommended time. I have been thinking about trying the other features on the app but I just have not had the time nor motivation to do that. Thus, I think the Bluetooth connectivity and the app are unnecessary. What I would have liked to see was an app that used the connectivity to stream music through your toothbrush like a speaker! I'm serious. Does anyone remember those candy suckers that played music while you ate them, inside your mouth? They were so great! All that to say, I didn't use the app very much. It's a good idea, but could use improvement. I don't need an app nagging me to brush my teeth. I get bossed around by computers enough already. The charging light is bright. At night it looked like there was a rave going on in my bathroom. I really do have to take the brush head off and rinse inside it often. The metal part on the brush handle was already getting rusty after a week or two. The charging stand is nice and easy to clean. The whole assembly looks sharp, and makes me feel fancy. This toothbrush is the wave of the future, folks.

I went from a standard manual brush to this one and WOW! what a clean in comparison (even as someone who prides myself on dental health). While the brush itself is really great, it comes with a lot of bells and whistles that are completely unnecessary. I TRIED to use the feature on the app once to do the position brushing detection, but it was honestly just a pain in the butt. I'm not willing to hold my phone perfectly vertical while I brush my teeth because my mirror doesn't have a shelf at the same height as my face, so it is essentially a useless feature for me. The app brings two things to the table: changing the light color (cute) and reminding you to floss, rinse, and scrape your tongue. Otherwise, the other features are extraneous. BUT, the toothbrush itself works great and makes my teeth feel after-the-dentist clean. I gave four stars because the toothbrush is great but the Bluetooth capability is a luxury you really don't need.
