I got this last month as it was highly recommended by my dentist and dental hygienist. It's the 1st electric toothbrush I've owned. I like it and can use it without the bluetooth app but I was excited to try if after reading about the app in the manual; it seemed like a good thing to use as I learned how to brush with an e toothbrush for better dental health. Unfortunately, my smartphone is an iPhone 5. When I tried to download your app, it would not because my phone model is too old --. My phone may be older but Really?? How do you create an app that doesn't translate to buyers with smartphone technology that still functions? That's my only complaint. If it costs more because of the technology you've created for this particular model, it should function for me and my smartphone. Tks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impressions of this toothbrush are just WOW. This is an amazing product. You can customize the color it lights up in, there's orange, green, blue, and many other colors. You can switch between brushing 'programs' a standard type clean, or a professional setting for a more professional clean. Even with the standard clean setting, I felt like I'd just had a dental cleaning, wow! The Oral-B app is really cool too. You can pair your toothbrush with your smartphone and see how long you've brushed, get reminded to floss and rinse, as well as change many of the brush settings. These are just my first impressions, after using the toothbrush once. I'll post another review after I use it more.

It was so easy to connect and even better when I tried it out... My teeth feel like I just got back from the dentist fresh and super clean. I like the feature that tells me if I am brushing too hard. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I began using this toothbrush about 20 days ago and so far it's wonderful. I went from using a basic manual toothbrush to this and my teeth have never been cleaner! Paired with flossing, I feel as though I just got back from the dentist with a cleaning! This toothbrush has a few different settings, each does something different. There's a deep clean setting that makes the brush go faster to clean deeper. There is also a daily clean and a whitening mode - which is my favorite. My teeth definitely look whiter and feel cleaner! The best thing though about this brush is the built in timer. I never realised I wasn't brushing my teeth for long enough until I was being timed. Every episode seconds the toothbrush pulses to tell you to switch areas and when the 2 minutes is up, it pulses 3 times to tell you. I will say though, the Bluetooth feature really didn't do much for me, which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I downloaded the app and tracked a few days using that but didn't keep up with that. The toothbrush has the timer already without using the app so I just use that. If you have a child that you want to track hie they're brushing it would be good to make sure they're doing everything properly. Otherwise, it wasn't for me. Lastly, this is great because of the ability to put on different brush heads. My fiance actually bought a separate brush head and now uses the toothbrush as well! We both love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy using the Oral-B® Pro 6000 SmartSeries toothbrush - it was actually almost fun setting it up and brushing my teeth! I felt like I got a really deep clean and that the round toothbrush head helped to get around the back of my wisdom teeth, which I've had trouble reaching in the past. The app was simple, and I like how it lets you keep tracking of your flossing and mouthwash activity, without making you feel like you're being sold anything (like many other branded apps do). I also liked that you could personalize the toothbrush with your favorite color light, and it really helps you know how long to brush each quadrant and to not brush too hard. The only things I didn't like as much (why I gave 4 stars rather than 5) are: 1) in order for the app to be able to tell where you're not brushing equally, you have to prop up the phone to use the camera (they suggest using a suction cup holder that's not provided). It's a bit too much work for me to do on a regular basis, because I often don't have my phone on me while brushing my teeth. But it's a neat feature if you want to check in every once in a while (but would be great if the brush could figure this out on its own). The second-very minor-issue is that the carrying case is very cheap/flimsy and doesn't fit the toothbrush very well at all. As someone who travels frequently, this is a bit annoying. Overall though, a great toothbrush with added features I haven't seen anywhere else!

I was once in a while twice a week brusher. never liked it did it if i had to. This brush has changed my mind about brushing. I really enjoy brushing twice a day now. Leaves my teeth very clean and the Brush does the work. Also a huge help is the reminder the brush gives after i'm done in each area to move to the next area and lets me know once i have brushed at least 2 mins. Plus this brush taught me i was brushing too hard and how to brush correctly. The app on the other hand not so helpful. I used it like two time to get the hang of how to bush but other than that it useless to me. I Rate a five start because I brush more often and better than i ever have and most of all I enjoy it. The app being limited on functionality is a bummer but the brush more than makes up for it.

Once I downloaded the Oral B app, I was able to connect to the toothbrush quickly and easily, and I got to customize the color of the light up ring at the top of the brush handle. That's a pretty cool, fun feature. I like that the app tracks my brushing habits, I always thought I was brushing close to the recommended 2 minutes, but I am really not. Guess I need to try harder. The brush itself works good and my teeth and mouth feel nice and clean when I'm done.

After two weeks of use, I can tell my teeth look whiter, feel cleaner even between brushing sessions, and my gums feel healthier. The toothbrush comes with a charger, brush head, refill stand that holds four brush heads, and a travel case. You can purchase many types of brush heads to use with this toothbrush. This toothbrush has a Lithium Ion battery which charges fast and one charge will last for many sessions. The handle has a 360 degree SmartRing at the top which lights up with one of 12 colors that you can choose with the app. My attached photo shows the toothbrush turned on so you can see the SmartRing lit up and also that it is in the sensitive mode (the feather). The color of the ring will turn to red to let you know if you are using too much pressure while brushing. There are five brushing modes which range from sensitive - the slowest speed to pro clean which uses the fastest speed. There is a massage and a whitening mode also. You can change to any of the five speeds/modes during a brushing session. The Oral B app can be downloaded to your smartphone for free. It has a timer to track each brushing session and will keep an ongoing log of your sessions. It also gives you pointers about brushing techniques which are especially helpful in learning how to use the toothbrush. Many people will like the app and I did use it for each session for about a week but honestly after getting familiar with the toothbrush I will mostly use the app now to change the SmartRing color. All in all this is a wonderful toothbrush for maintaining oral health and I would recommend it to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave the Braun Oral-B Pro 6000 a good try before I made up my mind. I have tried similar products before, but this one really changed my mind. It's easily charged, quiet and takes up little space. I love the fact that it includes a covered container for extra brush heads for the rest of the family. I feel like it gets my teeth much cleaner than a normal brush, and I find myself brushing longer. The best part is, my daughter, who never wants to take long enough to brush, has visibly cleaner and whiter teeth since starting to use this brush. This is something I am happy to add to my morning routine and won't go back to the 'old fashioned' brush. Although a bit pricey, I think it's well worth the cost, especially if you have kids.
