I thought the chocolate would be a little sweeter, even too sweet, but it was dark enough that it offset the sweetness of the pomegranate inside. The inside was more like a fruit snack than an actual piece of fruit. Very chewy.

I've been buying these for myself for a while now, but last week I took a bag to work, to share with my team, and everyone went crazy over them! People from other departments were sneaking over to grab a few, too. Now everyone wants to know when I'm going to bring more, lol! I hear things like, "I can't stop thinking about those candies!"

Absolutely love these! The texture is chewy but not so much that it feels like pulling teeth. Love that they’re small bite sizes. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I normally do not eat dark chocolate, but the flavors in the Brookside Pomegranate (Dark Chocolate) has completely changed my mind! The chocolate is Rich, and creamy! You think that is it, and certainly enough! Then you get down to the piece of pomegranate! Mmm Mm! The pomegranate is sweet with a little tiny bit of tart. Whoooowieee! I have found my new addiction! Well done, Brookside! I will definitely be buying some in the very near future!

Just a couple pieces of this candy was enough to satisfy my sweet tooth. I typically ate less than the serving size and they made a nice little treat without too much guilt. I kept them in the refrigerator which gave them a refreshing coldness however this may make the chocolate coating too hard for some people.

Brookside seems to know how to make dark chocolate taste absolutely delicious. The pieces of pomegranate inside are a nice chewy, and also sweet and tangy surprise that goes so well with the dark chocolate. I loved these so much that I am going to try most if not all of their other flavors. I am hooked!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Brookside Pomegranate Dark Chocolate were rich and creamy and delicious. The texture had a nice smooth finish. I really enjoyed these and would recommend them to my friends. They are great for a candy party dish.

My son has tried for over 20 years to get me to eat dark chocolate for the health benefits. I’ve never like dark chocolate because of the bitterness. A couple of months ago we were at Sam’s and I noticed a bag of Brookside Dark Chocolate. My son was on the other side of the building so I called him to come over to look at it. We knew we were going to buy the bag no matter what so we opened it and we both tried it. I couldn’t believe how much I loved it! He bought the bag we opened and I bought another bag for myself. It’s a little pricey but it’s worth it. I would have never dreamed my favorite snack would end up being a dark chocolate candy. The pomegranate is delicious. It evens out the flavors. Being a diabetic I can’t eat a lot of sweets but when I get a craving for something sweet I get a small handful and I’m good to go.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brookside Pomegranate Dark Chocolate comes in a stand up, resealable pouch that is very easy to open and close and perfect for sharing. The chocolate itself are not individually wrapped. They are small balls of dark chocolate with a chewy/gummy pomegranate center. The dark chocolate is delicious. It's not too hard and not to soft and the perfect size to pop one in your mouth. The pomegranate center, however, is not what I was expecting. I honestly expected something that resembled more of an actual pomegranate, not a chewy gummy candy. The ingredient list states that it's made from a juice concentrate so to me it just tastes like an artificial pomegranate flavoring and not the real thing. It's not bad by any means, it's just not something I would pick up again. Normally the boyfriend and I would have gone through a bag of chocolates within the week but these have been sitting in the pantry for a few weeks and the bag isn't even half way gone. It does work as quick fix to a chocolate craving which is why I am giving them only 3 stars.

So good! Oh my gosh... I love chocolate. However, fruity chocolate isn't my favorite, so I was a little skeptical to try this. It's DELICIOUS! I love how smooth yet sweet the chocolate is, and the pomegranate jellies are also great. My favorite thing is to suck it and then chew the jelly.
