My Smart Tv was too old to get all the latest apps, so the Ruku worked out perfectly to have all the apps in one place and is so easy to use. Has lots of app to choose from, both free and paid ones.

First time trying to cut the cord. This is easy to use, (after a few hours playing with it). Great sale price $30. Maybe next improvement would be lit keys. I went with Hulu subscription. Was best channels for me.

The picture is much clearer than my older Roku. The Voice Command is a nice feature that saves time because you can initiate it from anywhere without having to go to a search menu.

We picked up another Roku so our daughter could have access to our streaming services while in the hospital. As she is probably going to be there for most of the next 6-8 for leukemia treatment, being able to make her feel more at home is a true blessing. And the Roku is so affordable - it's nice to have one less thing to worry about right now.

The remote simply does not work consistently. I followed all the advice on the internet including adding the extension cable and re pairing with TV. It will work at temporarily when I re pair but I have to do it every day. This is a common and pervasive problem and is not being addressed by Roku.

I had three of these and all 3 overheated.. was told by roku that it is a known issue.. my device was on the side plug of my tv.. should not be having issues with overheating.. thank goodness it wasnt on one of the plugs behind the tv because i would have had to remove the whole tv from the wall if so.. or hope it doesnt overheats and catch fire

I have to replace my double AA batteries every few days or remove the batteries. USELESS. I have returned two units to Best Buy, and then contacted Roku who sent me a "NEW" remote. Same problem. Not just me. Read the forums on Roku and on the web. DO NOT BUY...unless you have stock in Duracell.

Don't buy this. I purchased it and ever since I've had to switch out the batteries every two weeks because the batteries drain so quickly in the remote. I contacted support and they said that this is a known issue they are working to address. They asked me to try changing my set up (plugging into the wall for power not the tv), which I did and the battery still drains ridiculously quickly. If you go to their forums you'll see this is a long-running issue with this model. I don't even know why they are selling a product with a serious technical flaw like this.

I purchased my first roku stick about three years ago while living in florida, it was a new adventure for me, it provided for a new way of watching television for my wife and me. I enjoyed it so much i researched when i needed a new Television and opted to get a TCL/ROKU television to continue my experience in my home on all my tvs. I find it easy to operate for were not tech savy at all. My nights are full of entertainement all provided by roku.

My daughter gave me the 3810 and we need an extension other wise the limited extender cord pulls down the whole stick, other wise I have to plug into a power stick and that is heavy and does the same thing. Looked at excessories and when I find an extender there is no information if that is just a replacement or I can really attach as an extender cord. Have not yet signed up for contract and until I get answers I am inclined to go another route.
