I bought this for my living room when my Roku2 I use on my porch stopped working. I like the new voice search, but I wish it you could use it in specific apps like Netflix or Plex not just as a general search. Also, the power works well for powereing my TV on and off, but I wish the volume worked on my sound bar.

Bought this as an update to my Roku Express. First reason was for updated platform that would show a full schedule for PS Vue app. (My Express just shows current hour and next) Was actually thinking of buying a old PS3 just for the interface, then got this instead and BAM! Problem solved! I now get a full Guide, reaching out a week. Added bonus, its FAST! Loads every app quicker, responds better. Then there's the Remote.. Voice Commands; RF rather than IR, so it can be pointed at the ceiling and still work; AND has Power and Volume that directly controls your TV. (these are IR) A real NICE feature! Over-all very pleased!

It makes life so much simpler. It's easy to install and set up, although I wish the user and password for a bit easier, like have a "Hotmail.com", "yahoo.com" and if you mistype you have to start all over again, that's a bit annoying. But I love the Roku and rather than the square box the streaming stick means less cords!

This is the first streaming stick I have ever owned. If you love tv, streaming is the way to go. The vast amount of channels is amazing. This Roku stick was well worth the money. Setup is very easy and customer service is always available. A must purchase for tv lovers.

This is my 4th Roku (so I guess I really like them). I really love the ease of set-up and use. This one I use in a basement room with fairly dodgy wi-fi. So far, it works great. The only change I would make to the hardware is to ask that the male hdmi end be flexible. I have a tv that the length of the stick blocks it so I need to use a m to f adapter. Would I buy again? Yes.

I've been a Roku user for several years now. I have Roku 3 in the bedroom and just got Roku Streaming Stick+ for the living room -- even though it's a smart 4k TV. The RokuSS+ has so many improvements -- like being able to control all my TV needs with the remote, including on/off, sound, voice control, and a 4K pic on those shows that use 4K technology. Roku's tend to be easier to use than some smart TVs. It's the ease of setup and use that is so great - and it's less than half the cost of some other streaming devices!

Roku is extremely easy to setup and use. We are enjoying all of the content available. The only issue I'm having is the volume control through my Denon AVR. I have to turn up the volume quite a bit to hear a show and then turn the volume down to normal levels when the advertisements are playing. It could be something I'm doing wrong on my end. We've only had the device for a few days.

So far, I am impressed by the ability to control volume from my Roku remote! I am, however, somewhat discouraged by something that happened at least 5 times last night while watching a one hour show. The voice completely cut-out and the picture may have even skipped a few frames. I don't know that it's related to the stick but I own 5 other Roku's that have NEVER done that.

Loved my original Roku. However, as age and infirmity crept in, looking for voice assist so as to not have to type. Only reason I moved up; so so easy to install. Downside having to enter account name/password again, but I used my tablet to make that process easier. All in all, it is a YES!

the roku is fast connected to the samsung 4k, the remote of the roku controls the volume of the television, but the remote control of the samgsun can not control the roku, and the list is not found, it could be a problem of the samsung tv update. great content, sharp image. it turns on and off with the tv.
