I upgraded from my old Roku just to have the voice capability and am very disappointed. It does not recognize anything basic i.e. go to CNN live, find ABC, etc. It always give me something different, or says it does not have that. It's basically a useless feature.

Super easy to set up and use, great channel selections, awesome picture quality. Netflix looked okay on my new smart LG UHD tv, but once I got the streaming stick + and used the roku for Netflix, the picture quality was amazing! Plus now I have access to all the channels the LG smart tv didn't offer. Highly recommend this product.

The stick requires an external power adapter which one is included. But the purpose of buying a stick is precisely the point of having it behind the tv. Otherwise why would you buy it. The steamer keeps rebooting itself due to the lack of power and is very annoying when it does it in the middle of the show or movie you're watching.

Positioning of Voice button is the same as the other roku remote's enter button. Dumb move for your previous roku owners. Also, everything is set to auto-play and I can't find how to turn this off on the new roku. There is no help on this and the settings functions are abysmal.

I have 3 sticks for 3 televisions. Roku is nice enough to provide free hdmi extender cables by request in cases where dated tv ergonomics make connections unfeasible. There's considerable content available at little or no cost. I am extremely happy with my purchase, especially since there are no contracts or continuing fees. Setup is extremely easy, and once the first is done, the remaining ones essentially fall right into place using your initial configuration as a template. I am extremely happy that Roku provided a rolling "Scenes from Nature" screensaver which is absolutely wonderful. Sometimes I'll just sit back and watch it, and nothing else, for long periods.

I bought these to get rid of my Cable TV provider. The picture is beautiful, much clearer than the converter box. The system still glitches on occasion, but nothing frustrating, and I do not know if it is the ROKU or my internet. Most likely my internet, as I only have one provider available, and they are not very receptive to issues with their system, as there is no other choice.

So far i love it. The feature system could be a bit more streamlined. But its leaps and bounds better than before. The remote needs to have a mute button and maybe a way to use othrr devices such as a theater style receiver. Other than that, best ever and so much better than cable for the money.

Spent several hours reading the online help for error messages: Message: HDCP Unauthorized continues to come up, even after going through auto detect for screen display. Also,, audio will not work. Went through the Roku online customer support, received an email that question was indeed submitted and a CSR will be in touch, but never received a follow-up from customer service. Sent a "cancel" request to customer service when, after following directions from a non-Roku help site, was able to re-set my smart TV and get the Streaming Stick+ working.

Only have had it one day but so far so good. Enjoying the new volume control. Would love to know, however, why we have issues with the show being replaced by the ROKU icon requiring us to log back into the show ! Very frustrating and annoying. Not sure if it's ROKU making this happen or Spectrum .

The 4K/HDR* Roku® Streaming Stick®+ is an upgrade from an older Roku model. The older Roku had been experiencing issues like freezing up with WIFI connection problems and having to be rebooted/restarted. This new model works great. Much faster and no connection issues. I was able to connect using the 5G, which seems to work better than the old 2.4G. I like Roku because they are easy to use, with a good remote control, and have tons of channels. I can even get OANN on my Roku. Roku Team, keep up the good work!
