I use this in many dishes as it is a flexible ingredient. Homemade queso (real cheese, not velveeta), chili, chicken tortilla soup, beef cabbage soup, goulash . . . it's a versatile product. I have seen other brands but when I think about it as I write this, I wouldn't even consider those. Ro-tel is tried and true in my household and we're not making a switch! I tend to keep at least one can as a back up because it can be used in a good many recipes.

Rotel tomatoes and velveta will always be the cheese dip of my life. These tomatoes are great to use for chili and I also love to add them to my chicken spaghetti for that perfect kick of flavor. I like that they have the perfect ratio of tomato and juice and don't need to be drained. 

I had guests over and made the always great Velveeta/Rotel dip. I served my guests and put the mostly empty bowl of dip in the sink. About 15 minutes later, I added water to the bowl and began scrapping the dip from the bottom of the bowl. I found a dead fruit worm in the remaining leftover dip which was about an inch long. I was so sickened! How many worms did we eat? I could not even imagine finding a worm in my Rotel! So shocking!!! I've used this product my entire life. I had to wonder how a worm made it through the processing in one piece. Based on many poor reviews of Rotel recently, I do not find it unbelievable anymore. What has happened to Rotel?

I love using this product. I use it in Chilli, jambalaya and queso. It gives so much flavor to anything you add it to. I don't think I would improve the product. It's a reasonable price. Not too expensive. I highly recommend it to others to use in their recipes

I keep a couple cases on hand at all times for spaghetti and rotel and cheese dip out a large can in my soups even. But just made chicken spaghetti last weekend and opened four cans and every can was only 2/3 full. I though that was strange and when I emptied the cans into the brown none of them had any chilies in it. I opened a couple more cans they were full and had the chili peppers in them. I even took pics of the van beside the bowl with no peppers in them

...best thing since sliced bread! Who hasn't had Ro-tel and queso? I also use it for a quick salsa by adding cilantro, more jalapenos and onions. Want to kick up your spaghetti? Use Ro-tel! Tacos? Ro-tel! It's such a versatile product. No pantry should be without it!

I use these in taco soup and they are tasty.  I don't feel like they are full of filler, it is what is says and it is high quality.  I prefer this brand over store brands or lesser brands.  Has great flavor and is perfect for my cooking needs.  I put all ingredients in a big pot on the stove and these have a lovely aroma as well.

I had a few cans in my cabinet - and they came in handy! They’re the perfect addition for chili, soups, or sauces, when you need to build heat while cooking. I love taking this and adding chipotle peppers in adobo or chili powder to kick things up a notch. Overall - affordable and perfect for tons of recipes. Will always buy.

I love to add it to my chili or in a cheese sauce for dip. You can really use it in a lot of things. I like how you can use it to sneak in more veggies to your family's diet. Spicy cheese dip is a big winner with my family. I always have some in my cabinets.

After years of using most of the varieties if Rótel I can highly recommend the mild one to be in the safe side. It gives to a twist to charro beans, ground beef and cubed beef stew, make a quick salsa, add some Extra ingredients, and can’t forget the nacho cheese. One thing that I would love to see as improvement is the easy open can, not there yet.
