What's to say other than Scotch Magic Tape is thicker than bargain brand knockoff transparent tape. The office dispenser is easier to use one handed but sort of bulky if carried outside to use on a ladder.

The Scotch Magic Tape is a very good quality tape which sticks well to almost any surface. The dispenser is also very nice.

The dispenser is very nice. The tape however is very thin and keeps splitting. Not what I expected from the Scotch brand.

I have several of these and as others have mentioned I am very disappointed they do not make replacement blades. it is beyond wasteful given how quickly the cutting blade dulls. they are intending on you buying an entire new product rather than a simple blade, it is not acceptable. I will not be purchasing more of these dispensers but will buy a larger commercial unit from a more environmentally conscious company that makes replacement blades.
