Great Protein Shake!!!

In general, I despise the taste of protein drinks but not this one. I actually love the taste. This isn't too sweet but sweet enough to curve my sweet tooth cravings and not too sweet that I can't have it for breakfast/dinner....and it's very satisfying. It's not chalky and doesn't have an aftertaste. To me it tastes like melted chocolate ice cream. I'm only a fan of the Milk Chocolate Delight...the others are just too sweet and the Vanilla tastes too much like protein to me.

I usually buy Atkins Vanilla flavored drinks, but Sam's had none available to ship. In desperation I ordered the milk chocolate flavor. Big mistake. It tastes liked it's loaded with artificial flavoring. I won't make this mistake again. Next time there's no vanilla, I'll do without!

These are delicious ice cold and very filling. They fill the need for that sweet taste while maintaining a low sugar lifestyle. Perfect for a quick meal or snack on the go when you don't have the time, (or the will), to cook. They don't promote intestinal distress like some other brands of shakes I've had either.

With 15 grams of protein with only 1 gram of sugar, I opted for the protein diet instead of gastric surgery. My doctor approved these as a substitute for what he sells in his office for his pre surgery patients. The only better tasting chocolate drink is the hot cocoa at Starbucks! Great meal replacement.
