Protein test is not so great. It actually upset my stomach and I had to give the protein away. I preferred the other brand they had, I can't recall the name but they would have the 5lb.

I use it in the morning as a meal replacement and also as a muscle recovery after weight training four times a week. I would recommend this.

Initial reaction is the flavor (I mix with almond milk) seems to have a fake sweetener taste to it. Something similar to Stevia. But that's just personal preference. I really like that it's Grass Fed. Makes me feel better about what i'm putting in my body. I use this both prior to my work out and again post workout. I mostly strength train so the protein gets well used!

Chocolate is my go to flavor for protein powders and this is a good one. It has 20g of protein per scoop. I like to mix it with milk for added protein and fullness. I just use a small shaker cup with a lid that does not have a mixing ball in it and it still mixes up just fine. This is a great way to get more protein in my diet.

Great chocolatey taste, great bargain, mixes smoothly (even with a cup and spoon) into a creamy texture (no clumping), and definitely delivers! I love that it is 100% grass fed and that its emphasis is on a more natural approach but without compromising on the results/effectiveness/quality I come to expect from Muscletech.. I stacked this with my usual Vapor1 pre-workout and Cell Tech creatine (the way I would typically do my Nitro Tech Whey Gold) and still notice that muscle recovery is rapid and muscle soreness is short-lived. Wish they would of sweetened it with stevia instead or surcalose. And would prefer a lower carb count shake. But all in all the flavor was good. Not chalky like a lot of shakes. I do add ice, almond milk & powdered peanut butter to my shakes before blending in my processor.
